Please report any issues for the current beta test here. I'm not getting enough. What's the limit for this batch? |

Limits on beta are 1 per core per host. So if you have a two core machine, two workunits at a time. This is the limit we have set for all beta's. No hoarding and helps the turn around time.

Received 2 on duo, one with about 30 hours deadline (repair job after a signal 11 on original), the other 3 days.

Test WU I got are all target02. Would we test again target03 with this app version?

We are testing target02 to see what the performance increases are for this test. target03 is still being evaluated by the researchers. We will probably not test again for target03 with this new application.

If cut exactly same size, or just a rerun of tasks previously run under 6.13, then taking first 45 minutes, we're looking at ~372 minutes for old versus 6.14 doing ~212 minutes. That would work out to be doing 1.75 tasks in the time it took to complete one with the current production app.

All of mine started with an initial ETA of around 5hrs. That estimate is slowly dropping.
----------------------------------------It looks like at 4GHz, they'll take around 2.75hrs on windows and around 3.5hrs on linux, both 64 bit. |
