Runs fairly stable all 8 threads 4.6GHz. Problem is it is running at 75C. That seems warm to me, specialy with water cooling. Put new Arctic silver on for the moment but have been told IC Diamond would be a better choice so I will order some and re-apply. May see some improvement after burn in of 200 hrs on arctic silver if I don't replace it before then.
I would love to get more speed but I need to figure the heat first. The 4.6 is just BCLK 100 and 46 on the ratio. 1.35v on the cpu. No other adjustments yet. I am still trying to learn. ![]() |

If it's not too much of a hassle try turning your fans around to blow in to see if it helps. 75c seems too high for only 4.6 and 1.35vcore on water. I'm running @ 4.6 @ 1.336 vcore but I'm only at 68c on air. 75c will probably not hurt anything but I can understand you not wanting to run at that temp.

I am running both GPU's slightly overclocked at the same time. 2-HD5850's at 765MHz GPU and 1125MHz memory. Both working DNETC.
Dropped the vcore to 1.335, temp dropped to 69C, ran for 3 minutes then blue screen. vcore at 1.34 69-70C and stable after 10 minutes. ![]() All fans pointed in already with the exception of the radiator fan blowing out. May have to try flipping that one. Just dumped on me again. Now going up to 1.345. ![]() |

Valuable lesson learned Sunday. When using post hole digger to dig holes first familiarize yourself with locations of all utilities.
![]() I had the electric marked out (thank God) but telephone was overlooked. ![]() ![]() ![]() System now at 1.35vcore and 4.4GHz. Decided to drop down a ways to find a stable starting point to begin the upwards trek to faster speeds. Ran all weekend without failures so I can call this a good starting point. Running 8 threads on WCG and both GPU's OC'ed at DNETC. |

I will continue to post updates.
Right now my main enemy is heat and it aint gonna get better here in Arizona. ![]() Now if I did not have to worry about power bills I would just put this puppy next to a window with a A/C unit in it ducted to blow output directly in the case. The electric company would love me. ![]() I am having the same problems Hypernova is dealing with as far as the heat is concerned right now. My problem is at a much-much smaller scale than his is. |

Sorry to hear about the heat issues. I know how that goes. Luckily with the new bedroom I built upstairs I can dump all the heat from my crunchers into the unused attic space above my kitchen. On another note, if you don't already know about this site, there is a new bios update for your board.
