Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

We had a very productive working lunch with our friends from Optibrium yesterday. We use their StarDrop software for our cheminformatics modelling in CEP.

In the midst of all that’s going on here at the moment we all missed that we passed the mark of 9 million results a few days ago. Outstanding job everybody – please keep up the good work and results coming ;).

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Today we’ll have our monthly phone conference with the IBM/WCG team. This phone call is slightly overdue as a consequence of all the stuff that’s gone on here – but we don’t expect any significant issues anyways.

And here comes the next broken ceiling! We have now collected more than 7500 years of computing time from the grid! Wohoo - you guys are the best!

We nearly forgot to report: Our friend Henning from Nano-C came over for a visit a while back and dropped of new experimental data on acceptor molecules which we can use for our calibration efforts.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Just a little teaser: We are working on a new CEP website. Our old one has become too cluttered and inflexible, so it was time for a fresh start. We’ll let you know once the new webpage goes live, until then you still have the old one.

Thanks. Any thoughts of moving to OpenCl so we can use our GPUs, many of which just sit, thumbs a'twiddle....?

Still need 20 days for my CEP2 Ruby badge, but getting there....
