I just learned that Dave Bell passed on back on Wednesday. Though we never met, Dave and I became friends over our involvement here at WCG and on MyOnlineTeam. Dave was a US Army veteran of Vietnam. He served as a Community Advisor here at WCG for a number of years. He was a committed member of MyOnlineTeam and was involved with the micro-finance organization Kiva.org. His family has informed me that, while arrangements are still being finalized, they hope to arrange a charitable memorial in lieu of flowers.

I know Dave has MANY friends here at WCG. I will miss him greatly as I am sure many of you will. I have created the In Memory of Dave Bell team challenge for those teams who would like to join us in honoring Dave's commitment and involvement here at WCG. For those of you who would like to do so individually, you are welcome to "camp" with us at MyOnlineTeam for however long you may wish if you are so inclined. You may also want to consider looking at Kiva.org as I know that his involvement there had become very important to Dave.

I will post any further details from his family when I recieve them.

Rest well my dear friend. I miss you and will not forget you.
