well I can say one thing for certain. these WU process a lot slower under windows then linux. Guess that is good for badge chasers (guarantee to get ruby for beta) but not too good for the research

I just got the "128" problem as well, running 15Mbps fiber! Too funny. Good thing there's "manual override"

Also getting the Beta - The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 requires 128.00 kbps download bandwidth. Your computer has been measured at 95.29 kbps.
I know for sure I have more than that.

Picked up my first 2 Beta's just now. They took 11 mins to download on 3Mbps DSL line.

I got 5! I hope it is enough to finally get a bronze beta (after several years of trying). I might have gotten more, but my bandwidth degraded and I was cut-off by the bandwidth limit on the project. By the time I noticed and manually repaired, it appears they were all gone.
Well, I'm lucky I got 5. I just need 3 days, 4 hours more CPU time. praying

When I got the first 2 beta jobs to start, I noticed they took a long time before the CPU time started counting up.
