I finished ~30 with no apparent problems. They are running a bit longer than I expected and multiple, concurrent uploads from several machines really slow uploads down. Milkyway does NOT like the long uploads and I've had some MW stall and have to be forced to restart the upload. But then MW does not like GPUGrid's long uploads either (longer than these) and acts the same way. Not a WCG problem. And as everyone has mentioned, the validator is on holiday. FWIW Dataman I had that upload problem. The best solution for me was to limit the upload speeds to no more the 80% of capacity if all machines were uploading at the same time. Anything more bogged my network down to an unusable crawl. Thanks for the info, nano. My solution has always been never to pair MW/GPU with GPUGrid. If I crunch CEP2 I'll have to look for an alternative. I didn't do that much of the original CEP. I hope Harvard can keep their machine up this time around. |

Somebody else had the same problem. I am running Norton 360 (Version: 4.2.0.12). So far no interventions from Norton.

nanoprobe, you have a really picky system. This particular one has been a real PITA. The others are pretty much set and forget. Makes me think about rebooting it with a hammer.
