Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I run on an 8-core Mac, and it seems fewer WU are created for Mac, because I'm getting an awfully lot of error messages stating WU exist but are for other platforms. However, I'm keeping my cache full, so I can't complain (much). :)

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I have a question about the statistics given in my signature. The sig gives Total run time, Accumulated points, Results returned, which I understand.

The sig also gives 3 265-US 12-team, 1 258-US 4 team, and 1 372-US 7 team. Would someone please explain these latter statistics. Thanks in advance.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Tasks are not really created for any platform... it's first come, first served, so if other platforms suck up the feeder contingent of _0 copies faster, then the wingman are also locked in for that platform and that is then the message seen. As far as success rate, the best is somehow Linux. Even when having a mix profile, the quad is still getting them in-between... the 10th WU just in for past 24 hours.

--//--

PS, think me quad is into a no-fetch disaster for the coming days. Had been crunching many short HCMD2/CEP2 jobs, so the DCF dropped to 0.4. There's now though 48 HCMD2 parent results queued, batch 1576/1577, and though projected at 2 hours, they're bound to inflate to 6 hours or more. A 1.5 day cache suddenly being worth 5 days or more... out the chase for R++ rating :(

Better asked in SNURK's °I made a signature° thread, it's your ranking, not global, but for country and team, so for the US your on 3265 and for your team in spot 12, in points. Same applies for Time computed and Results completed.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Yup, still getting them trickled in between CEP2 and HCMD2 since Sunday. Just now a c406 i.e. we're not far from the ts01 dxxx series... and then something different as that is not going to last the 14 days that uplinger mentioned :D

--//--

edit: a copy of the detail that seippel posted on the present C type wave
Also, here is the breakdown of where the work units are (for those that like to track how many more days of rain):
55578 ts01_a*
69561 ts01_b*
71331 ts01_c*
82128 ts01_d*
15222 ts01_e*

We're not far from the e* set.
