Sorry RT, I am rusty on my contractions, Southern and all being a 7th generation Texan and god knows how many generation Southerner. I need to watch that.. The typed message loses so much relative to the slang abbreviated way that it actually sounds when you say it. While I am only 2nd generation Texan, my wife, like you, is 7th generation and a member of the DRT (Daughters of the Republic of Texas). Her people were here prior to Texas agreeing to join the Union. My dad used to tell me to never ask a man where he is from "because if he’s from Texas, he will tell you and if he isn't, there is no sense in embarrassing him". ![]() |

I love that. Yes your wife and I are probably related as my ancesters were part of the Austin colony. Some of first 500 Anglo's in Texas. McMahan, Texas a blip in the road is named after I believe a great uncle who was a pharmacist. |

Being a pediatrician, I'm surprised you don't get sick more. How many times do you have kids coughing in your face after all. Actually, you probably picked this one up at/to/from the conference. |

Dataman was on the team. We need him back! Thanks for the kind words MOT but I would never leave me mates down under. Like MOT they are an exceptional team. I am very happy there and we are very active in the DC world (just not at WCG so much ).I hope Dave is back soon. If you get in contact with him, let him know that BOINC@AUSTRALIA started a KIVA team. Only a month old but 10 members with a $Grand on the table. We owe it all to him. It is a worthy cause like crunching. Cheers! ![]() ![]() |

It figures ... I manage to set a personal WCG points record today and all of the sudden the forecast is for highs around 90F - 100F for the next few days. Some of the machines can't handle 100% in the heat, so my point production will fall off for a few days
unless all those PV WUs magically validate. Crunch on! - D P.S. @DM - thanks for stopping by. |

Good Morning MOT.
---------------------------------------- Good morning prosepective MOT members.Good Morning World. By my count it has been 1 month (well 4 weeks) since we have had Dave B give us his morning greeting with his traditional three cups of coffee. I have a shiny new badge this morning for C4CW. I lack but a few days getting sapphire for DDDT2 and my PV queue is down to 2 pages; Still not quite enough. OK DataMan, but when it gets cold, come on back. I know the feeling Darth. I am ashamed of my Electric Bill. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by RT at Sep 24, 2010 4:48:11 PM] |
