There's a rumour going around that XtremeSystems might be running another Super Computer Week event over November 1 - 6 inclusive whistling

Thanks for hinting. Please send note to support if not already done, so they're ready for the onslaught and any particular target if selected can be sufficiently backfilled in the pipes.

There's no specific target, XS members work on whatever their individual conscience is most passionate about rather than a whole team focus.

Here we are on the last day of the challenge! Plenty of members running everything+dog in the final push so we'll see what we can squeeze out!

Hi folks, I have had a hard time registering for your forum and trying to post a copy of this thread: WCG Christmas Race 2010

https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,30243

Sent this via mail to one of your support admins, but no reply yet. If somebody could post a copy of the thread at your forums, much appreciated. Thank you and hope to see you at the Christmas Race. smile

Awesome Movieman!
You've got some momentum going there.
Hey have you seen anyone crunching with the a new
AMD 12 CORE? Wondering what kinda numbers it will
get with WCG.

Yes, it's been good.Over 13 million today.
Not yet on the AMD 12 core.
I have a pair of the 6168's(1900mhz 12core) but no board.
Boards are app $450.00 and I spent a LOT of money on the EVGA SR2 build..
Just has to wait till I dig up the cash for the board.

Hey Movieman!
Just wondering if you got this machine up yet?
Or if you want to donate the chips LOL (yeah i know no answer needed)
I only have single socket rigs right now, but have long wanted
to get a multi socket one. Kinda wondering wait for bulldozer?
get some xeons? Sandy bridge doesn't look right for this so what's
the latest thoughts?

P.S. I bounced in your team for a while, it's always fun watching
myself move up in the ranks, Hard to do that in your own 1 person team.

Surely there's a newer thread here somewhere but ...

rumor has it XtremeSystems stepped up in the world recently. I wonder what that's all about.
