Re: XtremeSystems; Beware the ides of March..OOPS! Make that May1-8

[quoteTrying to catch team 2ch in the totals is something we try to do every day but realistically it's a tough nut to crack.
I checked yesterday, they have 5 times the active members we do.
Then it's a Japanese based forum and that brings into play the cultural differences..
The people in Japan are much more attuned to giving than the people in the US..Unfortunate but true.

Hmmm, I would have to disagree,
They are more attuned to Saving sure,
But the US as a country, and individuals
give huge amounts of money and help.
What I've heard about their culture is
that they are less individualistic (is that a word?)
there are probably far fewer Japanese teams.
I have a half sister whose half Japanese so
I'm not picking on them, not that I would be if
I didn't biggrin

Still cant post at XS forum, just get this:

TLD, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Re: XtremeSystems; Beware the ides of March..OOPS! Make that May1-8

My planetary system seem to be extremely happy without my presence. It is just doing a marvellous crunching effort in my absence. Yesterday it emitted over 580'000 HEGPPD.

This was the highest absolute score I ever attained. Movieman it's up to me now to do cartweels in my hotel room. The problem is I bang against the walls and furniture. wink

Sorry DAK, but you know it's for a good cause. biggrin

Re: XtremeSystems; Beware the ides of March..OOPS! Make that May1-8

I thought you guys might like to see what impact your challenge has had so far. Here are a couple quick stats and then a bonus graph.

Looking at April 1-13 as a baseline, you averaged about 7.1 Million points, 15,500 results, and nearly 6 Years of run time per day. Your best in that period was about 7.8 Million points, 16,559 results in 6 years 118 days of run time. Your best output from the baseline can't even beat the worst day of your push.

From April 14 - May 5, you've averaged 12.2 Million points, 26,000 results, and 10 Years of run time. Your best from this period was 17.8 Million points, 36,228 results in 14 years 163 days of run time. To top it off, that occurred yesterday, so you're still on the upward swing!

This graph probably gives you a better sense of magnitude than my words:

Great stuff, Team XS!

(Feel free to use any of these numbers or the graph in your home forum. Cheers!)

Thanks much for the charts and number's.
It's been a heck of a week and the people who came have my thanks in a way thats hard to express.
Still hoping to topour friends at Team 2ch but so many "pending validations" makes it tough.
I have 25 pages of them myself now multiply that times 800+ people.
I know everyone else has the same issue but it makes it tough to make ones goals.

Hypernova:
You have a PM at XS that says how I feel. Many Thanks.
It's fitting where your located as your machines run like a well made Swiss watch! biggrin

TLD: I checked your account last night and it should be set up properly.
Try again and let me know please.

In ol' DPC style, this smells strongly of a Stampede... will there be a Megaflush too on the last day?
