Hi XS peeps, i have registered at your home forum but don't seem to be able to post there yet. Was wondering if you folks are going to run this supercomputer thing another week or is it ending on the 8th as per plan..

Gentleman we have a real race here And the real winner is......WCG Agreed..I can see poor DAK seeing he did 500,000+ points and was only second on the day.. He's from Chicago..The lake might be running from his temper!  Heck, I hit 277,000+ and was doing cartwheels in front of the house. You try that at age 58! LOLOLOLOLOLOL Very tough on the knees! Agreed..I can see poor DAK seeing he did 500,000+ points and was only second on the day.. DAK will have a chance to overtake me during the next three days. I am on travel until the WE. So no possibility to tweak, push the clocks, play with ram timings, core temps, or whatever else. If one planet goes down (it may happen) I can do nothing either. I hope my rigs are stable enough and outside temperatures stay low to help with the natural air cooling. I could improve the points daily score by changing the project mix but if I do that it will take a few days to stabilize with a clear drop in points before ramping up again. I won't do that before the end of the challenge on the 8th included. That will be done next week. DAK it's all in your hands, good luck!  |

Movieman if I may, here is my personal opinion.
----------------------------------------A challenge is a challenge. You either win  or loose  . You have to accept that even if you loose by one single point.Once the rules are set that's it. I would be against adding another week and again another week. It empties completely the sense of the challenge, and kills the motivation. Feel free to prepare a new challenge in the future with different terms. Do not launch it immediately. Leave it to June or July.  |
