Re: Beta Test for HPF2 - version 6.17

If you're on HT, take a rig and switch that off plz if it still got any Beta in queue to start.

Unfortunately Sek I can't do that before friday. It is not a parameter I can control from afar.

Re: Beta Test for HPF2 - version 6.17

I received 7 work units Windows 7 64 bit HT with version 6.2.28.
All completed and are PV.
The most common error of my wingmen in these workunits was as follows :

Result Name: BETA_ ng599_ 00038_ 7--

<core_client_version>6.10.18</core_client_version>

Re: Beta Test for HPF2 - version 6.17

I have got one of those in my old P4 HT.
It went fine in 18.26 hours, just a little more than needed to trigger the silver badge at the midday update. smile

Two different errors among my wingmen:
Nom du résultat: BETA_ ng595_ 00058_ 9--
<core_client_version>5.10.45</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>

</stderr_txt>

and

Re: Beta Test for HPF2 - version 6.17

I had not realized how extensive this test is, but last night and this morning over 8,000 results validated in the Beta queue. That should provide some solid fail stats versus what it is with the Old 6.03 version. Also looks and feels like the new distribution regimen, 1 beta result in progress per core, has led to much quicker quorum establishing than in past.

applause.

Re: Beta Test for HPF2 - version 6.17

The beta so far has been a good increase over what we saw in production for the same batch.

There were 57 exit 1's for BETA compared to 609 for production.

We are going to send this information to the researchers later today when a few more results come back in foor them to review.

Thanks,
-UPlinger

Re: Beta Test for HPF2 - version 6.17

My finger is hovering over that science tick box on your word Go.

OT: PS, how about renaming the My Grid > My Projects link to call it My Sciences or My Researches? That would match with the Research button up top e.g., but clarifies lots of discussions where one sits there wondering if talking about WCG or someplace else.
