I don't have the data to get the 'badges' given it's not produced by WCG in an overall file.
----------------------------------------However I do have the overall data for the country/team/project/join date/rac ranking given I generate it in my database after importing the standard BOINC xml output files. That is what I could output for you. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Bok7575 at Jan 20, 2012 1:48:36 PM] |

Primegrid badges do differ between sub projects. The sieve projects require double the points for the same badges. I have also mentioned before that WCG should do similar badges as Primegrid because you can hover your mouse over the icon in the forums and see people's total contribution to each project. Seemed simple to me, but others seem to think this would be a drastic resource deterrence from project work or overhead to the servers. Also don't forget that YoYo (http://www.rechenkraft.net/yoyo/) also has badges that are much harder to obtain and Enigma (http://www.enigmaathome.net/) is discussing adding badges as well. Well, GPUgrid announced them too, and look at the stretch they took at coloring in the levels. There's plastic as entry point for the water series, but nothing above sapphire. Is there a grid-world wide conspiracy ;?. Good for GPUGrid though, to also have such a program. --//-- |

Sek...this page has the point values of GPUGrid's badges. http://www.gpugrid.net/volunteers.php They seem to look reasonable for a GPU project as far as points go.

Plastic, what a concept. Of course I'm still partial to my suggestion of dirt, but I'd settle for plastic if it accomplished my diabolical goals.

Perhaps, but they are inconsistent and all over the place. Glycine (0.5M) Alanine (1M) Serine (5M) Proline (10M) Valine (25M) Threonine (50M) Cysteine (100M) Isoleucine (150M) Leucine (200M) Asparagine (250M) Aspartic Acid (300M) Glutamine (400M) Lysine (500M) Glutamic Acid (750M) Methionine (1B) Histidine (1.5B) Phenilalanine (2B) Arginine (3B) Tyrosine (5B) Tryptophan (10B) I would go with something consistent and more logarithmic. Glycine (0.5M) Alanine (1M) Serine (2M) Proline (5M) Valine (10M) Threonine (20M) Cysteine (50M) Isoleucine (100M) Leucine (200M) Asparagine (500M) ignore European milliards??? Aspartic Acid (1B) Glutamine (2B) Lysine (5B) Glutamic Acid (10B) Methionine (20B) Histidine (50B) Phenilalanine (100B) Arginine (200B) Tyrosine (500B) ignore European billiards? Tryptophan (1T)

enigma now has their badges in place, but I couldn't tell you exactly what each badge level is for sure. Only references I see are in a language I don't speak and really don't want to do the leg work translating with online resources.

I'll jump in and increment the interest counter for this. If I remember correctly, the first badges had a white (clear) background. That would be be perfect for this "participation" level if runtime > 0. That would be good for the old crunchers who crunched (but not enough crunches) before there were badges and color levels. It would throw a bone to those trying to get enough time on DDDT2 and Beta without taking anything away from those who have achieved the higher levels. Maybe there wouldn't be so much noise from the sidelines. Cheers And here I am...a year later... +1 from me too...just to keep the ball rolling. Cheers!
