Sincerely, in my humble opinion I can't imagine an idea more inclusive to help all crunchers than this one... I have some trouble understanding how you can say this in a thread that has a title that excludes 99%+ of all crunchers and automatically excludes every cruncher that joins WCG from this day forward. |

I prefer avoid discuss it, mainly about the objective of this thread, once it was clarified very well in the posts above. Up to you acept it or not. And please, I prefer when you take my references, like my phrase quoted above, to be genteel and include all text in the right and all original context were the phrase was used/mentioned, at least to be fair and clear with the readers that just follow the thread from yours post on... If you don't feel ok with this thread or contents or subjects, believe me that I understand you and it is ok for me. I got very well your point and respect it, despite of disagree with you. But I can't do anything more to help you on troubles and feelings about it. Anyway you are welcome here. As I mentioned before, all ideas and initiatives when used for anything by anyone, ever excludes somethings and someones. And, in this wide context, all ideas and initiatives from anyone, ever will be exclusives about somethings, some thoughts and some people. I can't do anything to solve personal dilemmas based on that, but I'm open ever to hear feedbacks about anything, mainly if are new constructive ideas to transform mine ones in better ideas/solutions to have a better environment, have more happy and positive people, better work, and a funny spirit of enjoyment around my life. In this way I decided change the title and subject of the thread to something that appear be more complaint and acepted by all crunchers, specialy all ones with more sensitive feelings about it. By the way, congratulations for your astonishing set of Blues (Sapphires), which is very impressive and appear that will be increase soon with the new projects scheduled and launched. For sure, realy very few crunchers on WCG have or will get a blueish set as yours. Considering that now you have less than 2 years here, it is very impressive conquest and it show that you dedicated fantastic efforts and resources to help WCG projects. It is amazing and important ! Last but not least, despite of be off topic. I guess that you are a Canadian citizen based on yours signature. So, I would like to congratulate the Canadian people and the beautyful country of Canada, for the wonderful well done 2010 Canada's Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games organization and fantastic records/medals conquested. The Olympic games just finished with honnor and glamour in Vancouver, show in great style for all world a real example to be follow by any country that will intend host IOC events like that. I imagine that the Paralympic games wich will start soon, will follow the same sucess in all aspects. http://www.vancouver2010.com/ So, finally, I would like to mention again that the thread is to celebrate ! Dosen't matter if for none, one or all badges. So could you please accept it in this way ? Could you please pay attention on the title and typo changes to clarify better the thread ? Could you please acept the invitation and join us in the party, just to enjoy and be happy with us here ? Obviously, it is up to you too ! Thank you very much in advance for your personal contribution on that. ![]() Edits: Title changes and some typo clarifications.
Cheers ! GIB@

A new sapphire was included in my set yesterday ! This time for HCC project, that's my favourite to crunch.
---------------------------------------- Hope put more focus on HCC again, but now is time to turn my attention and guns to complete sapphire levels on HFCC, HCMD2, FA@H, and try increase my DDDT2 time to get more levels, and with a lot of luck maybe increase my Beta level that's few hours to reach Gold level... Unfortunately, since two month ago I'm without one of my reliable and fast machines, which was dedicated 100% to my researches only and can't run any additional application at sametime due lack of resoorces. I intend have at least one more fast machine until the end of year, so I will run WCG on that to try speed up the things, but my guess is that new projects will arrive until there, and my strategy probably will need be revised or antecipated. Let's see... ![]()

GIBA I am working towards that Ruby Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy - Phase 2
----------------------------------------Patience is a virtue with just a N270 atom and a laptop bound P8600 ![]() Once it goes Ruby I am hoping to focus the crunching on Discovering Dengue Drugs - Together - Phase 2. Good idea to get that Bronze before the project is completed !! I bagged 15 years this week - hovering just below 3 days a day Looking forward to stoking up a Quad Core Phenom II before the end of March - just 65W TDP Keep 'em crunching Dave ![]() |

I bagged 15 years this week - hovering just below 3 days a day Looking forward to stoking up a Quad Core Phenom II before the end of March - just 65W TDP Keep 'em crunching Dave Hi David, it sounds as a good strategy! I badged around a little bit more than 18 years this week, so we aren't so far each other... I guess that AMD machine are ever a good choice mainly based on cost, but with the new Intel Gulftown (hexa) and Becktown (octa) core processors in launching this month, and the rebranding of Intel processors to be more clear positioned on the market, I think that AMD need take some agressive asap actions to avoid became out of date. We realy need competition on this processors scenario. Returning for badges/projects strategies, I personaly need put more strong focus on HCMD2 too, but I'm a little bit worry about what will happen with HFCC in the next months, and due it I'm concentrating my efforts in this project by now. Last year, we saw 3 projects being finished a lot of months before the estimated time (IADS1, CEP1, and DDDT1), and many crunchers lost the chance to get high levels badges due it. For the side of science was great, but for badge hunters was sad... I will not wait to see it again in other project, so I created a strategy to try avoid it when possible, and change my crunching profile from multiprojects to one / at most two at sametime. So when I follow the forecast of HFCC (based on Sekerob graphics estimatives) I have some concerns that HFCC will be antecipated in few months (it happens last month, when was moved from December to November of 2010 to be finished...). It could destroy my strategy to get sapphire level on that, once at sametime we will need take care of DDDT2 (in few weeks we will have a lot of WU's away to be crunched by many, but until there just left the project check box on...), and probably in about a month with much more urgency will need take a look at CEP2 and IADS2 projects (which will be launched soon according with many posts away), and in both probably we will see the antecipation of the end date of the projects, due the nature of science refinement involved in the second phase projects (I have reasons to believe that both ones have high potential to be finished before of DDDT2). So, I will focus in HFCC + DDDT2 by now. And, if none happens until there, I will reach my objective in about a month. After it, I plan focus on HCMD2 + DDDT2. Let's see what will happen... ![]()
