4 left to be validated out of 21... not too bad
----------------------------------------wonder if my other computer might get one of them tomorrow? Got my Q6600 working on enuf rice to go sapphire, my I7 is doing some HCC while I wait for the Dengue Plums to fall from the Tree, gonna snatch up a few days worth (5 or so) if I can, at least I know my machine will do them all without timing out or shutting down for the weekend. Barring Earthquake, flood or famine of course. |

These 3 will go into recirculation in a few hours:
----------------------------------------erlc_ b024_ ps0000_ 0-- Pending Validation 17-2-10 17:31:58 erlc_ b012_ ps0000_ 1-- Pending Validation 17-2-10 17:12:17 erlc_ b011_ ps0000_ 0-- Pending Validation 17-2-10 17:12:00 Those that have not started these jobs yes will get a message from the server not to bother. Now I wonder, if there could be a message from the client to the server not to bother sending the extra copy if progress is already being made with an ETA before the repair deadline. Presently a server abort is only send when the results have returned. It'd be redundant to get 3 results at 45+ hours when 2 suffice... would the enforcement of the Too Late rule (a rule that WCG employs only when the result has been removed from the RS pages) be called for?

The statistics are at midday, 13.75 days after project launch, having 1,528 WU valid of 2,000 originals or 75%. Let's say for simplicity, 25 more came in since, leaving 225 who are waiting on another 225 wingmen [could also be complete pairs are missing]. However bend, tops we have 1,775 WU's in the WCG vaults with ~225 being readied for reissue, count down 67 minutes...

Does anyone remember when 6.10.35 was released? edit: Maybe the log only shows the client running upon completion. (?) [Edit 1 times, last edit by pirogue at Mar 3, 2010 4:10:46 PM] |

I'll certainly not be taking any more than 2 (that is, if I'm fortunate to get any) - as I'm in need of another 9 hrs to get my Bronze badge PS. Sek, I like your drum roll |

I've been keeping my two clients crunching all projects for the past few days to stay in the Reliable Client standings, but this morning I changed my project settings to DDDT2 only to try and scoop up a few retreads. Is that what you all are doing too?
So for today at least, my clients are wrapping up their current WUs then sitting idle, and checking the server pretty frequently for work. If I don't scoop up any, I'll set them back to ALL by tonight or tomorrow. |

It is a little bit off topic, but oportunistic to mention... I think that you touch in a critical point (I put it in bold in your post quoted above), once until now I can't find clear explanations on threads to clarify it. The fact is that when we setting a specific conection interval in our web site / client settings, we expect that the Boinc client will follow it. But, the interval become greater and greater than the previous temptative, each time that check WCG servers (the exception is if we get a WU from any project...). I never saw a Boinc client follow the interval configured in the web site or in the client (just for an example: 0.01 days). I ever use the WCG recommended Boinc release in my machines. Maybe some clarification about it could be posted here or indicated that there is away in a specific link...
