OFF TOPIC ... BUT ...
----------------------------------------After ONLY 5 years, I finally received that elusive GOLD Beta badge. Now I can throw away that can of SILVER polish! |

Well, what do you know - I got a beta!
Curiouser and curioser; this came in after I left for work and not on a rig I can get to right now - but . . . 6 copies so far sent out and 5 including mine came back inconclusive. At the hour it came in, it would have ran uninterrupted, so not a checkpoint problem. BETA_erlc_a213_se0000 AMD Athlon II Quad - XP Pro - 4GB mem |

My inconclusive was not interrupted either. You got to expect some Betas to fail. I fortunately got some credit with the other 2 Betas - its been a while. Who knows the wing man might bring back a Valid between now and the 16th and I just might get some more rare Beta credit.

I am actually curious to know how many copies will be sent out if this one keeps coming back 'Inconclusive'. So far none of the current 5 match on results. I can hope the wingman on copy 6 matches mine, but I am not holding my breath.

In the event an Inconclusive turns Invalid, full time credit is given as are full point credits [a beta practice]. Regular production results give full time credit and half points of whatever came out of the quorum... not an absolute stone carved policy.

The 4 my duo got all completed in a single run without interruption, clean log as had the wingmen. The last 2 had upload files totaling 113 and 115Kb. The RAM/VM usages were same as first 2... some spread topping at 43Mb/385Mb respectively.

Nice test, 67 hours closer to gold ;>) Oh yes, the wingmen had close run times to mine.

BETA_ erlc_ a100_ pe0000_ 3-- validated with the #2 and #3 (mine). #0 and #1 are invalid now, were inconclusive before.
My run was interrupted at some time at least once, but validated fine. |

Finally this morning my prayers were fulfilled.
----------------------------------------After months of wait* a small gift was in my box. During the night as I was deeply asleep one of my planets (MARS) dutifully crunched and returned without delay my first Beta WU unit. BETA_ erlc_ a190_ pe0000_ 1-- 612 Valid 1/6/10 20:12:13 1/8/10 01:50:48 6.18 172.0 / 160.6 So the test did work and was successfull. Please send more. *To be honest I did not know about the fact that I should have checked a box saying I accepted Beta WU. So I waited for months without that little box checked and asking myself if I was blacklisted (kidding ). |

There must have been a very slow transmission aka traffic jam on theinternet since the submission date of the task was Jan 6 ;>)
