I was surprised to get the 2 betas I did. It happened on a laptop that I'm diagnosing for constant BSOD's....Luckily, the machine lasted long enough to finish both WU's. Now if only I could get more for a change. I have had a total of 6 since joining.

I checked before posting. The last time I had anything added to my "Stats by Project - Beta Testing" was 2010-01-09. Nothing since, no time or points. Also, since posting last night 3 additional WU's are now in "Too Late" status BETA_ erlc_ a123_ se0000_ 0-- 614 Too Late 1/27/10 16:42:21 1/27/10 22:51:09 3.21 60.6 / 0.0 BETA_ erlc_ a091_ se0000_ 2-- 614 Too Late 1/27/10 16:37:38 1/27/10 22:56:33 3.16 59.6 / 0.0 BETA_ erlc_ a083_ se0000_ 1-- 614 Too Late 1/27/10 16:36:35 1/27/10 23:01:39 3.19 54.4 / 0.0 Strange goings on Where is that 'stats by project' information stored? I've looked all over the MyGrid tab and don't find it. I have almost 70 hours of beta still on my Results pages from about 8 days ago (about 1/3rd marked Too Late)... aren't they removed from Results Status after being added to the totals? What I was referencing is on MY GRID -> My Statistics -> Statistics By Projects. It's the list of Projects + Points + Results + Total Run Time. When WUs drop off the Results Status list doesn't have anything to do with them being added to the Statistics By Projects. For when they drop off look here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=6105

Bill,
----------------------------------------those Too Late results are B-se types, there also being B-pe type. Though the target is to keep the results until 4 days after validation on the Result Status page, sometimes it's shorter [due performance issues] sometimes it's longer [migration to the master database delayed due missing results, too busy etc]. [ot]There is no MY GRID -> My Statistics -> Statistics By Projects, not overall and at device level. Already as commented by knreed the member daily history db is 123 million lines and growing... the project and device level would explode the size at that detail. Probably does not exist anywhere and if stored off-line, would require major reconstruction. When the consequence would be that a stats run goes from 30-60 minutes to hours... well I scrape twice a day and store it away, one day converting it to some type of stacked area graph of sorts.[/ot]

Hmm- I've one b.se in PV-jail - expires in 16 hours. Those 'too lates' are the server aborted first b.se WUs. |

[snip] When WUs drop off the Results Status list doesn't have anything to do with them being added to the Statistics By Projects. For when they drop off look here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=6105 OK... it says, "Notably, Results are only listed until 4 days after validation and where applicable quorum is complete and or no more work needs to be send out to achieve validation." The results I was asking about were returned and reported 8(+) days ago. Thanks. :) |

----------------------------------------I think you read much more into my response than I meant to write. The question in the post ZoSo quoted was answered a while ago. I was attempting to answer ZoSo questions about my post. Quess I didn't do a very good job of it, for which I apologize. [ot]What I was referencing was the overall Statistics By Project that is shown on the first page of "MY GRID" (http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewMyMemberPage.do). This shows a Project level view of total credit awarded to date. I did not mean to imply that it provides detail by day or device. I also was not suggesting and/or requesting that Project->Day->Device tracking be added. I pull a daily scrape of My Statstics and Results Status that I load into a SQL db. I also load the stdoutdae.txt file for each device about once week. I can then track daily performance down to the Device level if I wish, which is what I used to determine no credit was awarded for the WUs in the quote.[/ot]

Yay, I did my 1st ever Beta last night, it took just over 1.5Hrs to complete Congratulations themoonscrescent - although to be perfectly honest, what with 14,868 C type WU's in circulation (not including all the repair jobs that are needed for whatever reason), there were a fair few around. Certainly a lot more than normal... Where the competition lay this time, was in grabbing a few Beta WU's to crunch outwith the really serious Beta hunters who were just 'hovering' them up so that they could get that infamous Beta badge (or to improve on the one they already have). What's more, there wasn't a race on to be either of the first two of the three copies issued for that particular WU to be returned - as the validator was turned off. The sooner we loose the "intermittant" projects loophole, the better in my view |

Sorting allowed by any column, tasks, device, project, date completed and returned etc. Written about this tool several times in past few months. I'm sure that results completed data can be dumped to a spreadsheet if need be. Just not including the credit claim/grant, the claim maybe added in a future version following request with developer who's quite open and quick about adding features.[/more ot]
