Sek they are continuing up because they all have the relevant fiddle factor applied
----------------------------------------They are not anomalies I wish as much as you do that they were a true representation of reality as that would be science However....this is not science. This is science perverted by political goals. Read the CRU emails and have a look into how the IPCC goes about producing it's report. Have a read of McIntyre et al - you know they might have a valid point or 2. The reality is that the North and South Poles are not disappearing, not a single Hurricane made landfall in the Atlantic in 2009 and we have just had a truly awful Winter North of the Equator caused largely by an inactive Sun. If you want to believe that the Globe is the warmest it has ever been while the Northern Hemisphere shivers then be my guest I can't stop you. But could you cut down on the Doomongering you are unnecessarily frightening the Kids. Dave ![]() |

Oh to follow on from my previous posts above, I have another piece on solar research and scientists trust. Saved for later on my Read it later list. It's interesting because a paragraph couples magnetic field flipping of earth and the La Champs excursion, when for a millennium, earths magnetic field was powerless, the 10Be record in the geology exploded, ~40,000 years BP and GCR's (Galactic Cosmic Rays), did nothing to global temperatures or climate.
----------------------------------------Yes, we know an enormous amount of potential variables... except eliminating these one by one as a source, we're left with the impact of the man made changes since the start of the industrial revolution. Fancy tallying what those items are?

Although I have a distinction in mathematics, I thought that I had better brush up on some stuff, as I'm being told that I dont understand much.

Superb decision Whl... much better than following the Monckton's and Tim Ball's and the Mail Online and the Uk Telegraph (and sometimes the Guardian). Get yourself a good charting program too. One was caught red handed chopping out a couple of hundred years from a chart to make it appear there was a stable oscillation.
----------------------------------------BTW, did you speak to your brother? edit: And this one for how to do the knobbing: http://www.realclimate.org/index.php/archives...ph-in-three-easy-lessons/

If he comes back with a red pentagon between the eyebrows you know he's been initiated into the Illumasonibergeri. For all to see, yet very few to know... the forces converging.

Think the coolers are getting the lid on the nose, or I've got antifreeze in the veins, for I was outside just like a Scotsman, in my T shirt when everyone else [still] got the urge to put on a coat:
----------------------------------------![]() 20°C RealFeel® -129°C Winds: SSW at 24km/h It's like that movie where a super hurricane took care of the maxi chill factor. February 23, 2010 and the thermometer says the summer is well on it's way in. So much for the local [Accu]weather report. You can't trust them either. ![]()
