Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

For Daft qualifiers, Scam observers and Climate [null] Realists, and using David Authumns priceless specials "beware", "be careful with whom you side" (think there was another one recently, but cant be bothered). This was found on the Watts Up With That (Brain of His), a post by a scientist containing the cherry pick of the day
Although further work is needed, the geologic evidence (2) (Fig. 1) is most consistent with long-term, future climate change being more severe than presently anticipated

Highlight by me!

And this one from my own kitchen, source GISTEMP, ESRL, HADCRU, the blue bars representing the Southern Hemisphere anomaly consisting mostly of Ocean... where one unit of sea water holds 700x the amount heat that 1 unit of air holds at the same temperature, at 1 ATU (ignoring adiabatics). The Oceans of the SH catching up... whilst that sun is still very slowly crawling out of that extreme long minimum.

How to assign a shape name to the CO2 curve above, you can find in the sample chart below... it's trending towards hyperbolic concave, accelerating growth, then holding and we know there's a 30 year temperature lag going with it. It's Physics, not changing no matter what prayers thrown at it:

Yes We Can, Yes We Do.
(from a Climate Warming, Tree Hugging, Resistance IS Futile member of the most secret of societies whilst Eyes Wide Shut... Homo Retardus and hands down they're winning)

PS: There is a green line in the first chart, so beware people of Odiham, for it's the black one I once got thanked for!

PPS: And for those who can't recognize themselves in the mirror: SOI... the La Nina / El Nino main indicator... strong El Nino? (Who dreamed that qualifier all of a sudden up ?)... that's novel... what about those La Nina States then in the years before that? Look a heck of a lot stronger to anyone else.

Look, it is necessary [and to repeat too]

Temperature data are not accurate anymore in case you haven't heard.
Anyway, it looks like CO2 follows temperature.

With billions of dollars at stake, how can anyone not now see that this is a conspiracy?

I like this one the best. I'm going to print it out and hang it in my office.

Tell the guy in the mirror who's the Climate Liar [your qualifier] and Dr. Roy Spencer who's got just one thermometer scanning the planet 24/7 from hundreds of Km up with his satellite. He's the house fav of Anthony Watts Up With That [brain of his], just not these month when they seem not to be able to find and excuse:

It's a moderate El Nino, yet the global temps are nearly matching 1998... and generating all that vapor that comes down again when that meets cold air pushed out by the Negative AO (-3.41). The question for you to answer, why the La Nina's could not cool it down enough coupled with that extended low solar minimum. There's something in the air, and we're putting it there!

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

PS: You see, the doctor has not labeled the 2009/2010 spike?... it's been building since 2 years. He's getting nervous... it started right when the sun went into it's deepest minimum... so why did the cooling not persist right when David Authumns posted his solar proclamation... this one, where I added the provisional 2009 Hadcru3v bar at far right:

Reading about "can do without that crap", print these 2 out and put them up on the inside of that door for room 101, for those quite minutes, to come up with an actual complete and cohesive story to tell why it ain't true.

added below: For the ain't true-ist a short caption, of 2 different satellite sources, one run and analyzed by the venerable and favved Dr. Roy Spencer and his compadre, Dr. John Christy doing UAH, the other by Dr. James Hansen doing RSS for the Goddard Space Agency, the most disliked of the Climate True-ists, after FVP Al Gore:

The great Algore has sure been quiet...

He's still out there.

Al Gore slams Exxon’s ‘lies’ as advocates seek to regain momentum
By Ben Geman - 02/18/10 09:36 PM ET

Al Gore used Twitter Thursday to allege that oil giant Exxon Mobil has lied about its commitment not to fund organizations that dispute the science behind global warming.

“No surprise. Exxon lies about pledge not to fund climate deniers,” the former vice president tweeted.

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Dear oh dear

It's amazing the number of graphs that are spawned when you call it like it is.

Take your graphs and tell them to the not disappearing North Polar Ice Cap, the not disappearing South Polar Ice Cap and to the Hurricanes that haven't increased in number or strength.

Take your graphs and show them to the greatest Northern Hemisphere Snow cover since week 6 in 1978.

Take your graphs and show them to the Sun and ask it why it is not co-operating in Al's fantasy.

We have no control over our Climate. It's been hotter and colder in the past and it will be hotter and colder in the future of that we can be certain

On balance it's probably best warmer as you can't feed yourself from the land if the is a kilometre high glacier grinding it's way through your living room.

In the meantime enjoy the climate for what it is today.

6C today in Brussels and sunny - a brief taste of the possibilities of spring.

I look forward to it even if Winter in the NH has not played it's final hand.

Dave

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

btw

If they ever get around to publishing last months HadCRUT3 Global Anomaly it will be around the 0.58C mark possibly as high as 0.62C but unlikely given http://www.cce-review.org/index.php

I'm hedging my bets around the 0.58/0.59C mark

Any other offers for this months Hadley CRU sweepstake?
