Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Britain is now free to frack and slash energy bills

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/09/16/br...k-and-slash-energy-bills/
his week has seen debate rage about whether the Hinkley Point deal represents good value. But there is another vital element of energy policy that is not being discussed. For one of the key benefits of the vote to leave the European Union is that Britain will not longer have to cooperate with overzealous regulations on shale gas extraction, or fracking, which has the potential to transform the energy market.

and so it begins .... in Australia

http://news.sky.com/story/storm-cuts-power-to...-south-australia-10596940

---
Some blamed the outage on the state's move to get its energy supplies from mainly renewable sources, but Premier Weatherill said energy generation "assets remain intact".

Officials did admit however that the closure of a coal-fired power station had left the state with no back up.

Federal energy minister Josh Frydenberg told Sky News Australia that "serious questions" would have to be answered about how a state's entire electricity supply could be knocked out by the weather.

Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore, PhD is now “The Sensible Environmentalist,” cutting through phony “global warming” science with facts. Here, he explains why carbon dioxide (C02) is a hero, not a villain.

Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the Croatia

As from 01.01.2017. electricity goes up for about 33-50% (depending what kind of user you are). All thanks to ex-government of "Social Democt Party", which is apparently not social at all (but also not democrats, as they were communists before 1990.).

Hopefully that law from 2015. can be put out of order, in a few ways...

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

The September 2016 result is in and the average temperature from 2438 NOAA Weather Stations around the Globe was 19.450C the warmest September in the series

The yearly average October 2015-September 2016 is 13.411C is the highest 12 monthly running temperature yet beating last month by 5/1000ths of a degree.

I keep saying I expect this to crash from this month onwards as temperatures are no longer boosted by El Niño.... this time round it will be so :-)

Here's another forum friendly sized graph that updates now every 4 hours due to the sheer number of points it now needs to plot

The graphs above are (at this moment in time) the result of 122,259,764 individual temperature measurements taken around the Globe from (the same set of) NOAA Weather Stations since the beginning of 2011 cool

On average every 1.5 seconds another temperature reading is added to the database .... wink

I won't lose them

Government Agendas Drive Climate 'Science'

Junk science-premised guilt and fear also serves to channel lots of taxpayer money to U.N. handouts in restitution for our unfair fossil-fueled prosperity. As U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) official Ottmar Edenhofer advised in 2010: “ . . . one has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. Instead, climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth

Money and power is all it's about. Always has been, always will be.

Experts said Arctic sea ice would melt entirely by September 2016 - they were wrong
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016/10/07...ntirely-by-september-201/

ire predictions that the Arctic would be devoid of sea ice by September this year have proven to be unfounded after latest satellite images showed there is far more now than in 2012.

Scientists such as Prof Peter Wadhams, of Cambridge University, and Prof Wieslaw Maslowski, of the Naval Postgraduate School in Moderey, California, have regularly forecast the loss of ice by 2016, which has been widely reported by the BBC and other media outlets.
