Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

The July 2016 result is in and the average temperature from 2438 NOAA Weather Stations around the Globe was 22.839C warm but not as high as the 23.125C of 2012

The yearly average August 2015-July 2016 is 13.389C is the highest 12 monthly running temperature yet beating Feb 2016 by 4/1000ths of a degree. Expect this to crash from September onwards as temperatures are no longer boosted by El Niño

Here's another forum friendly sized graph that updates now every 4 hours due to the sheer number of points it now needs to plot

The graphs above are (at this moment in time) the result of 118,654,255 individual temperature measurements taken around the Globe from (the same set of) NOAA Weather Stations since the beginning of 2011 cool

On average every 1.5 seconds another temperature reading is added to the database .... wink

I won't lose them

Dave

Meat should be taxed at the wholesale level to raise the price and deter consumption, says a new report from the UN’s International Research Panel (IRP). This will (supposedly) save the environment and prevent global warming.

Let it snow: Temperatures to plunge to record low
1:08 PM Friday Aug 5, 2016

• Snowfall warnings across the country
• Motorists urged to take care with snow warnings for Desert Rd, Napier-Taupo Rd and Rimutaka Hill Rd
• South Island roads impacted include the Lindis, Lewis, Porters, Arthur's Passes and the highway between Dunedin to Waitati
• Sub-zero temperatures expected for South Island
• Schools closed in Dunedin

The bitter cold snap is set to smash a weather record that has stood for more than a century as an icy chill takes hold of the South Island.

Doubtful. Socialists always find ways to spend waste other people's money.
