Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Billionaire's Club Funds Climate Crisis Propaganda

A 2014 U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works Minority Staff Report titled “How a Club of Billionaires and Their Foundations Control the Environmental Movement and Obama’s EPA” describes a powerful far-left political machine that conducts lobbying under the guise of “charitable giving."

Key tax-exempt recipients of this estimated $10 billion per year environmental lobbying industry include the Sierra Club, Earthworks, the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), Earth Justice, the climate crisis 350.org and other anti-coal, anti-fracking and anti-Keystone pipeline pressure groups.

The activist groups propagate jointly crafted material under false notions that they are independent, citizen-funded organizations working altruistically. In reality, they operate in tandem with donor agendas, typically to justify a desired predetermined policy outcome.

And our spineless liar-in-chief is right in the middle of it.

The Obama EPA has given more than $27 million in taxpayer-funded grants to major environmental groups. Two singled out with “significant ties to senior EPA officials," the NRDC and EDF, have each received more than $1 million.

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Normal Service has been resumed.

NOAA's site wasn't firing on all cylinders and then the USA's observations changed their URL and their web page layout for the second time in the experiment..... remember that 2 week Shutdown in 2013.

We are back on track. At the end of 10 years I will fill in the gaps with the average temperatures of the same time across all 9 years and leave only the still working weather stations across all 10 years

But for now....

The June 2016 result is in and the average temperature from 2438 NOAA Weather Stations around the Globe was 20.900C. The warmest June in the series by 0.222C

The yearly average July 2015-June 2016 is 13.369C so we are rolling off the top of the El Nino - watch as the global average temperature falls over the next 12 months....demonstrating how the heat is not building up by being trapped in our atmosphere

Here's another forum friendly sized graph that updates now every 4 hours due to the sheer number of points it now needs to plot

The graphs above are (at this moment in time) the result of 116,897,566 individual temperature measurements taken around the Globe from (the same set of) NOAA Weather Stations since the beginning of 2011 cool

On average every 1.5 seconds another temperature reading is added to the database .... wink

I won't lose them

Dave

They are now saying that Global Warming is causing more and more penguins to die in Antarctica.

I ask you -- have you ever seen a picture of a dead penguin? Who do these so called scientists think they are?

Well, I spent a few years in Antarctica in one of my past careers studying the life cycle of penguins thanks to a grant from the National Science Foundation, and I would like to share what I've learned.

Did you ever wonder why there are no dead penguins on the ice in Antarctica? Where do they go?

Wonder no more!!!!!!! The penguin is a very ritualistic bird which lives an extremely ordered and complex life. The penguin is very committed to its family and will mate for life, as well as maintain a form of compassionate contact with its offspring throughout its life.

If a penguin is found dead on the ice surface, other members of the family and social circle have been known to dig holes in the ice, using their vestigial wings and beaks, until the hole is deep enough for the dead bird to be rolled into, and buried.

The male penguins then gather in a circle around the fresh grave and sing:

"Freeze a jolly good fellow."
"Freeze a jolly good fellow."

Ha ha!!! You really don't believe that I know anything about penguins, do you?

It's so easy to fool people all you crunchers on the WCG forum.

I am sorry, an urge came over me that made me do this!!!

Oh, quit whining, I fell for it, too.

I think Erika is getting more close to banning me from the WCG forums for life. biggrin

Well you fooled me--but it was funny
Cheer up things could be worse
Cheered up sure enough things got worse!! smile smile smile

Global Temperatures Are Mostly Fake
Posted on July 21, 2016 by tonyheller

NOAA claims global temperatures are the hottest ever, based on some rather spectacular junk science. NOAA doesn’t actually have any temperature data over most of the land surface.
