----------------------------------------Note that Germany estimates that it has 2.3 trillion cubic meters of shale gas—enough to meet domestic need for a century. Then go back and read the size of the UK's deposit ... beneath Northern England ... again :-) ...and yet those lights will go off in the coming Winter. The lights stayed on during the last one by paying manufacturing industries to stop manufacturing. I have have it confirmed that this was the case. They managed the load to 52GW it was clear to see on the http://www.gridwatch.templar.co.uk/ BM Report outputs This year we won't have 52GW of generating capability ![]() |
