Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

The global climate scandal has exposed sixty-eight years of deceptive science in the United States after the Second World War ended in 1945,
1. Theoretical models of reality over-ruled observations of reality, e.g., Fred Hoyle’s SSM (standard solar model) of hydrogen-filled stars over-ruled all observational evidence of mass fractionation in the Sun:

http://www.omatumr.com/Data/1983Data.htm
http://www.omatumr.com/Data/1998Data.htm
2. New scientific discoveries were engineered at the best universities to discredit unacceptable observations:
a.) The 1964 observation of mass fractionated neon isotopes from the Sun in the Fayetteville meteorite
http://www.omatumr.com/Data/1964Data.htm
were obscured by the neon alphabet game:
“The Neon alphabet game,” Proc. 11th Lunar Planet Sci. Conf. 15, 879-899 (1980)
http://www.omatumr.com/abstracts2005/Neon_alphabet_game.pdf
b.) The 1972 observation of “strange xenon” in primitive meteorites
http://www.omatumr.com/Data/1972Data.htm
was obscured by super-heavy element fission hypothesis:
“Strange xenon, extinct superheavy elements and the solar neutrino puzzle,” Science 195, 208-209 (1977).

Etc., etc., ad infinitum

Just when you think it can't be possible the Nobel Peace prize givers have done it again.

Only 51 days have passed

Do they bestow this now insane award just for the insult and injury, and the column inches it generates ?

...and yes this is right on topic since that fateful day, 10th December 2007.

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

End Of The World Set For 2047. Plan Accordingly

Bob Geldorf (and who the hell is he?) was off by seventeen years. But then I read he’s a singer and no professional climatologist. Since he’s some big hoo-hah celebrity, his predictions of doom made all the press.
Wait. It’s Geldof and it’s “Sir Bob” (do they give these titles to anybody who applies nowadays? Because I want one). Judging by the way the man looks, I’d say the world ended for him ten years ago and he just hasn’t noticed yet.

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

My energy supplier announced a price hike the other day of 8.2% average, to take effect on the 15 of November.

The rates they charge before VAT at the moment are, 4.02p per kWh for gas and 12.45p per kWh for electricity.

I managed to change to a new supplier yesterday at a fixed price for 12 months of 3.917 for gas and 11.770 for electricity. So its a tiny wee bit cheaper than I paid with my old supplier, but will be quite a lot less next month after their price rise. They said it will be 8.2% average, so I could have actually been paying more than 8.2% on top.

I expect this new lot that I have moved to will also announce a price rise soon. At least I will be fixed at the lower price for a year. After the 12 months are finished, I will change supplier again to whoever can offer me the best price.

So come on every cruncher in the UK, If you are with that supplier who has announced the rise, get switching. Its easy to do online, or by phone and only takes a few minutes. Lets force the prices down !

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Whl. I'm moving again at the end of the month

The sooner I can put my current supplier behind me the better
(Though they are technically unable to bill me at the mo !)
I must be 1 of only a handful of people who can't switch suppliers

Have you seen this ?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVoprjIcohw

10% of the bill is also being economical with the truth

I'm getting the full polar outfit for this years winter !!!!
