Currently down there joint 31st lowest average temperature out of 354

Alongside 1783, 1855,1887, 1916 and 1969

Now they are claiming the extremes

http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/clim...ific-adviser-8547893.html

Anything proves Man Made Global Warming these days

So it's now entirely outside of the realms of Science

So if today's March is just like 1783, 1855, 1887 all pre motor car

Isn't todays weather just that... weather

Like it has always been

Unpredictable [as in inconsistent] as ever

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Battered communities in the UK remain without power and road links after the heaviest snowfall of the year – and with no consolation from forecasters who now foresee wintery conditions until late April.

The Met Office's furthest prediction stops at 30 days – 22 April – when colder-than-average conditions and frosty nights are expected to keep their grip on Scotland, northern England and possibly further south.

Areas spared the full force of the chilly weather pattern, governed by easterly winds from Scandinavia and beyond, look likely to get rain instead. The weekend's disruption saw soaking weather play a major part in disruption, with flooding and avalanches in the most affected regions, Wales and the south-west of England. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2013/mar/25/cold-weather-stay-april-forecasters global warming my arse!! wink

Time For A Team Huddle
Posted on March 25, 2013 by stevengoddard
The hockey team has shot themselves in the foot again. The new claim is that missing sea ice brings lots of snow and cold to low latitudes.

Ignoring for a minute that they said the exact opposite last winter, they are wrecking their own theory religion with this claim. Let’s put on our dunce caps and accept their new theory.

If missing Arctic ice actually caused cold, that would make it a powerful negative feedback - thereby destroying the basis of their belief system. In other words, they just drank their own Kool-Aid and committed suicide. http://stevengoddard.wordpress.com/2013/03/25/time-for-a-team-huddle-2/

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Downwards and downwards

With just 5 further cold days to come in March 2013 we are now joint 28th lowest Central England March Temperature out of the last 354 years alongside 1808, 1917 and 1955

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/hadobs/hadcet/cet_info_mean.html

2.3C below average

With the year to date almost 1C below average

Gerald the theory of CO2 induced Man Made Global Warming is just that.

Theory

Thankfully for us all not borne out in practice. Natural variation wildly swamping out any evidence of an anthropogenic signal.. if it was ever there.

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Despite no global warming in 10 years and recording setting cold in 2007-2008, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climatic Change (IPCC) and computer modelers who believe that CO2 is the cause of global warming still predict the Earth is in store for catastrophic warming in this century. IPCC computer models have predicted global warming of 1° F per decade and 5-6° C (10-11° F) by 2100 (Fig. 1), which would cause global catastrophe with ramifications for human life, natural habitat, energy and water resources, and food production. All of this is predicated on the assumption that global warming is caused by increasing atmospheric CO2 and that CO2 will continue to rise rapidly. http://www.globalresearch.ca/global-cooling-is-here/10783

A Carbon Tax Would Destroy America
By Alan Caruba

If you want to know what a carbon tax on emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) would do to America you need only look at the destruction of industry and business in Australia, along with the soaring costs for energy use it imposes on anyone there.

“The carbon tax is contributing to a record number of firms going to the wall with thousands of employees being laid off and companies forced to close factories that have stood for generations”, Steve Lewis and Phil Jacob reported in a March 18 issue of The Daily Telegraph, a leading Australian newspaper. http://factsnotfantasy.blogspot.com/

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Hi Gerald

Somewhere closer to home is running an excellent Beta Trial on the effects of CO2 legislation.

It's called Britain

The Legislation removes the Great bit. Industry closes and the population cannot afford to keep warm or travel.

In 2015 the lights will go out and our contribution to the WCG will become untenable due to the expense and unreliability of power supply.

Meanwhile approaching the end of March 2013 in Britain it's like living in a Snow Globe

The Climate doesn't care one iota

Dave

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Up to the 26th March 2013 the average Central England Temperature is now below this January and February at 3.1C

2.4C below normal w.r.t. the period 1961-1990

The year to date is 1.02C below normal

March 2013 is now joint 24th lowest monthly temperature in the last 354 years alongside 1746,1771,1867 and 1888

and let's just say the outlook for the remainder of the Month isn't good

Have you seen what is happening to the average solar yearly temperature recently?
