Classic hook line and sinker corporate Climate Change madness

http://www.selling2bt.bt.com/Downloads/GS20.pdf

If BT were still sourcing their phones from Newton Ayecliffe rather than having them shipped from over 5071 miles away (according to Wolfram Alpha) the need for Carbon footprint stickers might be moot

The best line

"In addition, when supplying a replacement product, BT requires that the product delivers improved energy efficiency and/or reduced environmental impact."

How so if it is a direct replacement?

The UK slowly doing down the plughole

1.3g of CO2 per sheet laughing

My 4 rolls made from 100% recycled paper have 240 sheets per roll that's a whole 1.248Kg's of CO2 biggrin

Tesco working with the Carbon Trust

The carbon footprint of this toilet roll is 1.3g per sheet and we have committed to reduce this

By comparison the carbon footprint of Tesco standard toilet roll is 2.0g CO2 per sheet which is higher because more energy is used during the manufacturing process

You would hope I was making this stuff up.

And on another note life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer you get to the end, the faster it goes. biggrin
