In the face of reality this is an unstoppable train. The Land of Watt, Faraday, Newton and the Industrial Revolution reduced to this. Today our Elderly are using their free bus passes to keep warm, riding on the Buses as they cannot afford to keep their homes warm in our big freeze. Today our Elderly are dying from the cold. Tomorrow? Roll on the big VAT increase on the 1st Jan 2011. Petrol currently 1.219GBP / litre with 17.5% VAT. It will be 20% from 1/1/11 Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK Wrap up warm folks Dave  |

Yep when we are knee deep in snow it's weather and it really is the warmest year ever and our eyes deceive us

It doesn't work that way. See link above. See link below. NASA's chief global warming exaggerator, James Hansen, was caught doctoring temperature data in several clever maneuvers. He oversaw the elimination of a dramatic reduction of world temperature recording stations. San Jose computer programmer E.M. Smith uncovered the data and found NASA "systematically eliminated 75 percent of the world's stations with a clear bias towards removing higher latitude, high altitude and rural locations." The number of reporting stations in Canada was reduced from 600 to 35, with the traditionally colder areas no longer part of the equation, therefore leaving the overall world temperatures to skew toward an artificially higher figure. In 2008, Hansen entered September temperature data for the month of October in compiling numbers to support another scare about warming, once again trying to falsely distort a climate record. He claimed it was a simple error, which would be an acceptable explanation from a layman but not from the person in charge of NASA's climate projects.
