i've been thinking about what we do together. we have some really big producers on this team. our top four typically do more than all the rest of the team put together.
----------------------------------------what really got me to thinking is not how impressive it is that we have so many high output people, but that we have so many steady contributors. they may not put up huge numbers each day, but each day they are doing their part. each day the contribution they make with their one or two machines gets us that much closer to being out of business (yes, i would love to be able to stop this if they would find cures for the problems we are addressing). I think today we need to recognize the guys who slowly and steadily make a difference and get little, if any, recognition. thanks for all you do for our team, and for humanity! DSL is now back after a rather un-timely outage. Stats on their way. I've always liked Cable better.. only had DSL once, it was okay though.. Dr. Mike.. ![]() No cable here. That's the next ridge over. I'll take fire hydrants first though. |

RT, looks like you're making progress with your HPF2 issue. Only time I've see upload issues with 6.6.36 or 6.6.38 across lots of projects is when the project servers are down.
---------------------------------------- Did you see anything on the Messages tab at the time BOINC tried to upload? |

RT, looks like you're making progress with your HPF2 issue. Only time I've see upload issues with 6.6.36 or 6.6.38 across lots of projects is when the project servers are down. Did you see anything on the Messages tab at the time BOINC tried to upload?I messed up by not looking at the message queue on that machine when that happened (that bunch of WUs that seemed to be hung up trying to upload). Sorry! The good news is that they all got uploaded OK. I just switched my machines to Rice for a few weeks. This should take effect tomorrow morning some time when the machines' work queues are depleted of HPF2 work units. I think the upload issue is with that version of BOINC (6.6.38) rather than the HPF2 (HPF2 had other issues with 64 bit quads that I never did understand...and as far as I can tell, neither did anyone else; changing BOINC levels was just a shot in the dark and I am thinking probably did not have anything to do with the other issue. But who knows ).Completing the HPF2 WUs in the various queues, should turn my HPF2 badge sapphire. I ran 17+ years worth of HPF1 but this second phase just doesn't inspire confidence from my perspective.
