Apart from the tongue-in-cheek part, ( I don't look good in earrings) I think this would be a good idea. You could have a diamond in the top left of the square for 5 years, + one in top right for 10 years, one in the bottom left for 15 years and one in the bottom right for 20 years. I'm sure we'll all take your word on the ear ring thing i don't really have much to say, but i decided that if something is important to you, you should put your time into it. since what we do together is important to me, i decided to start posting more. I've been on board since day one (not with MOT for the first six months) and my post count hasn't hit 100 yet. i will change that before the week is out. Thats great! I was seriously thinking about quitting WCG yesterday. They have censured us in the chat room and mostly because of in my opinion because of "D' he is a bumbling jerk. But i have cooled off for now Oh ####. I'm glad you're cooled off. I can imagine what you must have been calling him before you did. Anytime ANYONE is thinking about quiting, please talk to me first. I'd really appreciate it. At one time, I used to have a "warm and fuzzy" about WCG. I'm not feeling that anymore. I'm not sure what deity blessed this organization with the position of "thought police" but if they are getting my computers crunching for them for free, we should be allowed to have an ugly debate now-and-then. Nothing gives them the right to delete those threads. Those intellectual data do not belong to them! It deeply disturbs me that they think they can. Not happy about this at all... Chris--we can only fight with the truth, you cant change a fools mind.but it is always worth the try. At least we are doing something for a good cause and we can stand together--your friend --Gerald |

I just see and feel things slipping away, and I don't like what I see coming in to replace it. I don't think I'm an old timer (as was suggested earlier) as I am only 49. Like you, if that boat has sailed I'm glad I wasn't on it. In any event, please forgive me everyone for going off on the deep-end last night...

Okay folks. Evaryone needs to take a break and count to ten. I'm not out to single any one person out, mainly because this applies to everyone, and, while I do not intend for what I have to say to offend anyone, I am going to be frank so if something I say bothers you, take a moment to look at why that may be the case. [snip...] Thanks for writing all that; I can see that it was well thought out. Also, thank you for not stalking us like a certain captain admits that she does. I realize that words written down don't usually express the intent of what was supposed to be expressed. That is exactly why some of my posts are so blunt as I don't want them to be misunderstood. Short of breaking down to primitives such as "FU" it's the only way to get through to some people. Of course, when the "FU's" start, communication has broken down. That's no fun... But I can see that the forum administrators can't tolerate open speech, I won't be speaking my mind much, anymore. I do appreciate you writing all this down. I have taken it to heart...

MOT is a good group of folks .... all with good hearts ... all with a desire to do the right thing. Sometimes with different views of what is the most right.
----------------------------------------You (and everyone at WCG) are good people or you would not be here contrubinting to the betterment of mankind. Have a good scotch (as I just have) and hang in there; we are all in this together. Peace ![]() |

I just don't think those debates are worth having. Let's be honest, you're on the wrong side of history. Your generation is the last generation to hold such conservative economic and social views. This is the last desperate gasp of extreme conservatism. Our civilisation has moved progressively more liberal as time elapses. Think of the progress we made in this past century with Civil Rights, the woman's right to choose, de-stigmatising homosexuals, and with ending Don't Ask Don't Tell on the horizon, we're continuing to move towards a progressive vision. I'm sorry if you're not on board the ship, but it has sailed. Republicans had their chance but they made their deal with the Devil with the imbeciles Bush and Palin. The yawning intellectual chasm between Obama and Bush, or between Rachel Maddow and Sarah Palin, bespeaks the radical intellectual superiority and compassion of the youth of this country over the last vestiges of republican conservatism (thinly veiled racism and not so thinly veiled anti-immigrant sentiments). Lets be TRULY honest we are not on the wrong side of history--the ILLEGAL immigrants should be sent packing our civilization if that's what you call it is eroding.I have nothing against civil rights but Johnson was only thinking of the black vote, and that's what all the amnesty have been about. If that ship has sailed i am happy not to be on it For your information bush may have been a republican but he was not a conservative--i didn't like him or his father that is a globalist--they speak out of both sides of their mouth! AS does obama and he is far from a intellectual--i treat people like they treat me and if you want to call me a racsist or anti immigrant so be it.I will only give up my freedom with a fight. I guess almost two million people in Washington on 9/12 were the same--you have a lot of maturing to do before you understand whats happening in this country 2 million? ROFL! According to fox snooze perhaps, but no actual news organization. |

I guess almost two million people in Washington on 9/12 were the same--you have a lot of maturing to do before you understand whats happening in this country 2 million? ROFL! According to fox snooze perhaps, but no actual news organization. No actual count was taken as it is not the job of the police to count the number of the people at any given event. But the park services has an interest, and using their camera's they measured people densities of around 2.5 which puts it at around 1.4 million people. It was about the same amount of people (a bit less) as the Obama inaguration according to the park service. The park service reported about 1.7 million people at the Obama inaguration, so if they report 1.4 million people at 9/12 and claim it was a little less, that seems resonable to me. I don't think that the park services has any reason to lie about this so it seems trustworthy. Counting the people that could not get into the park due to it being so full, there is enough room around the area to easily pack 250,000 to 500,000 people into so I can see that the figure of 2 million people is very real. I was (finally) given the opportunity to go to this event and trying to buy plane tickets from California I learned it was impossible to buy a plane ticket. I was offered a few first class seats, but since I am not rich I declined. It was packed. Almost as much as Obama's event. That's a fact, and it has nothing to do with Fox News.

According to fox snooze perhaps, but no actual news organization. Hey Jonathan, can we not start any wars in here, please? This room is the one safe place to go around here. The actual news that Fox reports is good news. I will yield to the shows (such as glen beck, bill oriely, etc. as being slanted) but their actual news reports are very accurate and unbiased. It took CNN three weeks to even acknowledge that Acorn had been exposed as frauds. I had to send them a "News Flash" on their web site to inform them of what was going on. I don't think MSNBC ever reported it. It was never important enough to make it to the network primetime news. It was news, it was important, and only Fox was reporting on it. I would find fault with the other news sources before I faulted Fox. The role of the media is to keep the government in check. Do you dispute that at all? Let's not start any wars in this room, though...
