I am happy that I guessed correctly that DDDT would be finishing before CEP so I am out of this fight to the finish and leisurely chomping away on CEP. I could have gotten in there and fought to get my 4th year of DDDT, but I would have hated to finish an hour short when the work runs out.

Do we have a projected start date to Phase 2 yet? Yep, the powers that be are using the same date projection that they have been using for every other new project: SOMEDAY SOON. |

So will I. When I will have achieved my Gold badge, I will return the extra cache already loaded to give other crunchers the opportunity to reach their goals. This will work, right? I intend to do the same: I think I already have more than enough cache to get the emerald badge on DDDT, so once I see it on my stats I'll abort all not started WUs. But I want to be sure others are going to get them. |

Apologies to Sek, Dact, Jean, Uplinger, Nelsoc and Kevin for the extra server workload this time No problem for me. I will be following each of you happy badge completers for gathering any DDDT WU you will throw behind you; that will be my only chance to ever reach Sapphire. Thank you all for doing it this way (this time). Jean. Jean and all looking for the next level, I aborted 227 WU . Good luck to all!! Bill P

Anyone who does buffer > 2 days on a device is not going to get any of these aborted jobs... they go into the rush channel reserved for the reliable / fast returning hosts. Not 10-20 ... 227 is a small armada.
----------------------------------------As for overshooting a target, filter the result status page on project pending validation and inconclusive to know, 99.999% sure how much is still going to get added to the project stats in the coming days.

It appears as though members are grabbing lots of work units as my estimate is now at about 5 days of new work left. This means in about 5 days, members with DDD-T only selected may get the no new work available message. Also, if your machine is considered reliable, then you will still get some work past this estimate for various reasons (invalids, too late results, additional validation, etc...)
Thank you again to all the members as it has been interesting to see the push over the last week. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Well I guess since I'm not downloading any new WU's all are cached.
----------------------------------------Looks like I'll just fall short of Emerald. I sure could have used that new Quad core (won't be here til next week). I'll finish what I've got and hope for the best then move to CEP. Best of luck to the rest of ya'll [Edit 1 times, last edit by PecosRiverM at Jul 20, 2009 3:54:48 PM] |

This means in about 5 days, members with DDD-T only selected may get the no new work available message. -Uplinger Thanks for this info uplinger. It confirms what I was fearing, i.e. that I will not reach my next feasibility checkpoint in time. I had to be less than 10 calendar days away from the 2-year target when the feeder dries and that will happen one or two days earlier. No problem, but better make sure that the CEP scientists are ready to push more batches to WCG now! Jean. |

So I'm stuffed with the chances of a yellow badge. Not happy with the short notice.

Suppose no one is, but it's a fact of life and commented on earlier in this thread why it happens.
