So will I. When I will have achieved my Gold badge, I will return the extra cache already loaded to give other crunchers the opportunity to reach their goals.
Not that it´s that much. For all hunters a few minutes average perhaps laughing
Apologies to Sek, Dact, Jean, Uplinger, Nelsoc and Kevin for the extra server workload this time cool

Thanks for this project!

Re: Final Batches of DDD-T Phase 1 have been loaded.

fodder for psychologists wink

The greatest gain, rightfully so, is for Dr. Stan Watowich & Team at UTMB getting their Phase 1 work finally completed after all the trials and tribulations. He did a back-of envelope projection of work for Phase II, coming to 3,000 years needed in single redundancy. Not sure if in that state with the goal of truly filtering out the false positives and keeping the real promises, that it can be done in zero redundancy. That would make it then 6,000 years required in quorum 2 (with CHARMM).

Re: Final Batches of DDD-T Phase 1 have been loaded.

It might be interesting to know if phase 2 will be a separate project (bringing the possible badges to a clean sixteen) or if everybody will get the opportunity to catch the next badge.

The psychologist might also be interested in the actions taken after someone gives an answer to this.

If this information is already somewhere in the forum, then I apologise for asking again...

The current policy is: New project phase, new bucket, new badge i.e the HCMD logic.

Do we have a projected start date to Phase 2 yet?

Of course, that's much quicker than actually having a look for it ;>)

When Phase II starts? Usually a week or so after the Beta Test which will be announced if there. Dr. Stan Watowich made comment in this thread on impending alphatesting.

No problem for me. I will be following each of you happy badge completers for gathering any DDDT WU you will throw behind you; that will be my only chance to ever reach Sapphire. laughing

Thank you all for doing it this way (this time). Jean.

Re: Final Batches of DDD-T Phase 1 have been loaded.

I have loaded in the last new work from the researchers last night. I am estimating that new work for DDD-T will last for about 12 days. This means that after all of the new work has been sent out, members with DDD-T selected as their only project may start seeing "No new work available for the projects selected". It will take about 10-14 days after that last new work unit has been sent to actually return all of the results to the researchers. This is due to make up work units being sent out to additional hosts for calculations.

This was written at July 15.
Uplinger said the NEW work was loaded, but it does not tell us how much work was left from the previous batch. So the estimated time could be 12 days and some more.
But then some people (like me) focussed on DDDT so the work could end up sooner.
I saw in the statistics page that Friday July 17 there were about 30 CPU years returned
And Saturday July 18 about 36 CPU years were returned

Usually Saturday and Sunday are a little lower, so I think us people focussing on the last work for DDDT are doing this.
I saw a message from Sekerob about (almost) a new record :-)

Can Uplinger or Sekerob tell us (new update) what the estimated end date will be about?

Arjan

Re: Final Batches of DDD-T Phase 1 have been loaded.

It's allot more fun if you do the extrapolations yourself. I think knreed posted quite recently how much sits normally in the feeders to bridge WCG until it runs dry, can't remember, 36-48 hours, per project maybe more or less.

Have fun:
