Re: Supplemental Charts Going Under Due Their Own Success

Lo and behold, it only took an hour and a half to restart the engine and add SCC1 to all the available charts... 29 all told, and add some more secret sauce. Nr 30, a crunching chart for the newest project, will follow when the artistic juices have returned praying.

Re: Supplemental Charts Going Under Due Their Own Success

Is there anyone still 'alive' looking at these charts?

Why?

There were only 4 hits through the 'official' individual charts bit.ly links or through https://bit.ly/WCGSlides in my other me signature the last week, those that allow moi to see viewing statistics, geolocation(country/region not city/habitat)... the 'That's why I keep doing them' numbers.

It's becoming a chore after 10 years or so, and chores I despise. I'll be asking admin to remove the 2 Chart items in the Community Maintained FAQ forum as anyway I don't have rights to maintain them CMFAQs, badly broken links all over the place, viewing counter just now on 171429 and barely moving.

Funny is, the other me sig has been seen displayed 35951 times so far. in it's short existence... that bit.ly link works alright i.e. the viewing pull statistic are quit real, and poor. tired

Re: Supplemental Charts Going Under Due Their Own Success

If you kindly use https://bit.ly/WCGPIE1 and any of the other bit.ly links on the 2 supplemental charts FAQ's, then the views are counted and motivation stays up. smile

Editing a bookmark and replacing the link is easy, at least in FireFox... rightclick, choose properties and place the shortcut link in the location field, then Save.

thanks (for helping me see the traffic).

Re: Supplemental Charts Going Under Due Their Own Success

BTW, all bit.ly links can me be made safe, by inserting the s after http (the FAQ has not have that).

Re: Supplemental Charts Going Under Due Their Own Success

The only chart I've really ever used is https://bit.ly/WCGPIE1, until recently accessing it directly but now using the bit.ly shortener. I've depended on that chart for years to give me an idea of what projects were active, which were close to completion, and where I should spend my crunching time with respect to badge completion. I've always appreciated it, am sorry to see it gone, and hope that it may be back in the future. If there is an alternate source for this information please let me know.
