Whilst careening down hill, on me e-bike, helmet on, lovely cooling from a strong Adriatic breeze, it came to me, something I'd been puzzling on for days: How to plot data-points exactly in 365 day intervals, but looking back from now, not plotting from past to present. It proofed trivially easy, and reveals after that to some nail-biting summer interval where only FA@H could run at full work supply, and they surpassed all expectations [to me too], and CEP2 of course always in a "process what you can" mode, all you can chew for 0.00, the fun outcome is that the last week had a higher production than any other same week of previous years. To see what I see visit
http://bit.ly/WCGWKZ Good it only got unpuzzled today, else the horizontal blue lead line may have put a few Sr. It Architects at WCG into a hi diasystolic mode, and Hypernova does not need to do pixel counting this time around Oh, and please only pass the bit.ly links along, you from xs too! P.S. We did |

Just added bit.ly/WCGMCM shorted link for the Mapping Cancer Markers to the Performance Charts page . As with the other active projects PF's this one has mini-charts at bottom depicting the full project history. Momentarily only 5 data points, so the squeezed Main graph is currently in blow-up in the minis [can you see it ;?]
----------------------------------------Think as with HCC1, the 1 in MCM1 is a filler [matter of habit maybe of a tech whom I shall not name ;], nothing at all implying there'd be another phase after this [and years away anyhow]. The picture I'm having is, once this database matures, a patient 'profile' could be send onto the grid and [parallel] processing is done in high priority [with redundancy, the second opinion] to come up with the 'best similarity mapping' diagnosis within the day rather than weeks or month and more (this is surely completely devoid of original thought). Anyway, let's just crunch on. P.S. The chart background, under fair use borrowed from the WCG front page, is a strange specimen, Prometheus or Prototype human of unclear XY chromosomal persuasion. ;P [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Nov 12, 2013 11:36:55 AM] |

http://bit.ly/WCGUGM and a case sensitive url it is, with mini charts at bottom, bright green is highest day, blue is lowest. All other charts are updated, except some wont graph ugm1 visibly yet due absence of enough data.
Will be on hiatus for a while, so if you don't see a new one... the dads army rep will surely bounce up another thread. |

Today took the big jump into a new iteration of the charting program, months of coding and testing, leisurely, this one now allowing to pick any period to graph, just 2 fields to change start/stop dates and everything reorganizes. This is just in time to see a new post-Ripple record developing. Prognosticating 527 runtime years for today, no indication there was some morning session flushing of validation reserves (sadly just peanuts for OET1 included). Only Wednesday today, not clear what more is in store for the remaining weeks of the year; going out with a bang maybe

The coding is 99.8% complete, the day end procedure now not running from "5 to 10 minutes", not "35-40 seconds", but in final touches "18-20 seconds" if BOINC is running, and "6-8 seconds" if BOINC is not, hardly time to sip my espresso. Just about 25 times faster, and using SSE2/3, I think.
.Those not having seen it yet, Quicklook is now with colorful O's in the day share column and The Dashboard had a few donuts added [pies with holes they're just that] at left, showing project shares for the current period, labels indicating which it is, half a million Ebola validated results included. Quite a bit more than nothing, patient zero having been identified as a kid who was playing in a hollow tree that housed fruit bats too. Let's work to put a to this epidemic ASAP.Crowd Crunch On, in 2015 too. ![]() |

With the advent of FA@H going for the 10 year anniversary found a small nook to put a day counter since launch on all Active and Intermittent Research Performance Charts . Longest project running now 3390 days [and with the timeline at 78%, many more to come]

And the next step in the transition... displacing the charts gradually from a closed folder, where all Start Here FAQ pics are, to a public browsable folder, still at PB. The bit.ly/WCGPI1 short now is bit.ly/WCGPIE1. This one now finally shows a piece too for Ebola... 0.2% of the total computed output at WCG of 1,072,083 runtime years at this time of writing, on day 3784 of 'Thé' grid.
The Dashboard also shows some new shorts for the active performance charts. All you need to do is append the indicated acronym to bit.ly/WCG and you've got direct access. For instance CEP2 then becomes bit.ly/WCGCEP2 Enjoy P.S. This is for free, so just as with BOINCStats, if you see adds, that's the price of being hosted gratis (and not moving) ![]() |

After a major reorg, proceeding to remove the old bucket images, having redone the bit.ly short-links in the Chart index FAQ and added a few that were previously only showcased is separate threads.
The limitations of the forum-software unfortunately prevented from testing all in an efficient manner [so yawningly slow, some surely went the borked pathway], so if anyone finds a link is going to a black hole, let me know and I'll see if I can fix / have it fixed [Cannot edit the Performance Chart thread OPs, so that's where you could end up seeing "This photo is missing"]. A Preventative Sorry ![]() |
