'Usually' I run my clients the way they were designed to operate, so 1 hour 3 minutes later:
----------------------------------------BETA_ CMD2_ 0001-GPDAA.clustersOccur-TPM1A.clustersOccur_ 266_ 486118_ 486326_ 2-- 613 Valid 5/24/09 13:52:41 5/24/09 14:28:51 0.59 9.0 / 9.0 BETA_ CMD2_ 0001-GPDAA.clustersOccur-TPM1A.clustersOccur_ 266_ 486118_ 486326_ 1-- 613 Aborted 5/24/09 13:52:39 5/24/09 14:55:45 0.00 0.0 / 0.0 < Mine BETA_ CMD2_ 0001-GPDAA.clustersOccur-TPM1A.clustersOccur_ 266_ 486118_ 486326_ 0-- 613 Valid 5/24/09 13:52:21 5/24/09 14:29:40 0.51 9.0 / 9.0 Yes, the task was redundant within 38 minutes... and no high priority state on this cruncher ;>)

Scribe - I am all for earning badges but do you think causing unnecessary work for WCG is a good thing to do? ....as all mine are returned within the hour I am usually the first, so what redundant work am I causing WCG to do? Changing your storey again ... you never do seem to respond directly to any question posted you just move on to your next idea ... are you forgetting that you were the one who suggested using suspend / resume? That is what can cause redundant work! ....or do what I do and set just Clean Air as your project.....you get lotsof Beta and if you start them running, using suspend and resume then they do not get aborted, they only abort if you have not started them..... |

I do use the suspend/resume, this ensures that all the betas run instead of waiting for a CMD2 to finish before it runs.
As I explained above, I keep about 10 CMD2 on my quad, I have only CEP selected, so I only get betas. When the CMD2 queue drops to about 3, I then select CMD2 and get about 10 more, then back to only CEP selected. That is what Isaid at the beginning and that is what I say now so who has changed their story? |

"you get lotsof Beta and if you start them running, using suspend and resume then they do not get aborted, they only abort if you have not started them..... ". Clearly this states that you are suspending and resuming betas so they will not get server aborted. Done. Crunch on !!! |

You have made a couple of deadly mistakes in your suggested method. At this moment I'd suggest you read what I wrote and reply to that. Don't reply to what you think I wrote... For the rest, I realise you are a newbie. Ignorance is not a sin. |

If there needs to be whipping and snarking, we have the privilege of holding the straight-jackets ready, so be very nice.

Yes, ik verstoan westvloms too and heard there where it's spoken the city buses are 60 feet long and 7 feet wide. I'm ignorant of the fact why that is nor could I think of a reason edit:

So below is a copy from the beta line on My Grid page. No more beta jobs, 8 been aborted without my intervention, those that took 30 minutes each on someone else's device:

Out of topic: Sek, you was never there I suppose. The busses there are 7 feet long and 60 feet wide I can confirm this to be an Urban Legend. They are actually 60'3" wide |
