I have 2 or 3 P4 processor chips if any one wants them. They came out of IBM ThinkCenters. Are they Socket 775? I can use them for some runs... ![]() |

[Snip] [Snip] ... Put all pc components in aquarium and dump mineral oil in. I'm not gonna bother to fuss with the cpu/heatsink at all. Whatever happens, I'm sure it will be an amusing test. If that works, that sounds like a great alternative to lots of things including the traditional liquid cooling. Please keep us up to date on how that works out. ![]() |
