Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 35 smilesmile

@Jonathan: I got the shipping notification. Thanks! I may put it to use at Folding although I am not too keen on running a separate app outside of BOINC.

I was reading about folding@home and was kind of bummed when I saw that it's a separate program...

I mowed the corrals and did some weeding in the garden today. Still I had time to sit in the shade under my favorite Oak and watch the chickens chase bugs and listen to the dogs make “happy dog sounds” while they rolled on their backs in the newly mowed grass. What better therapy is there than that on a beautiful Friday afternoon? peace

Very nice sounding afternoon!

Also @ DM

You guys are right. It does suck that F@H is not BOINC based, and I have no idea why the two don't merge (other than Stanford/Berkeley tensions). I can tell you I've run F@H on both GPU and CPU and had a reasonably good experience. There is NOTHING like this kind of team support over there. But then again, there's nothing wrong with a little side trip...

Darn it (OMFG ROFL, THAT ONE'S FOR THE CENSOR!) Chris Brown, you're already going to overtake me in boinc stats in 164 days?!?!?! I thought an OCed 260 GTX was going to be enough. Geez give an old timer a shot...

ROFL - Sorry Jonathan biggrin
I did some quick calculations, and in 28 days I should have the same score that you have right now. You make about 23K every day to my 48K a day. So taking that into account, that adds about another 13 days. 13 days and 28 days is 41 days before I should actually catch up to you.
My math may be wrong due to my love of beer, though.
I too have a 260. It's in my sons computer. But I also have a 275 in my computer, and a 9800 in my weather station.
This 275 flys through these wu's, too!
You may get your shot, though. I haven't received my electricty bill yet! LOL I can't shut my pool down, now, but I can sure back off of the GPU crunching.

[Edit] Okay, I layed in all out in Excel and if everything remains equal I will overtake you on July 3, 2009 - 56 days from now. biggrin
[Edit 2] Since I can't seem to get enough of Excel, I figured it out 164 days from now. I will have 8,634,753 credits and you will have 6,014,058. DM will have 17,958,691 by then.

@marysduby - I've been reading the To all of you greenies out there posts and you are putting up a good fight. Kudos to you! wink I've been very entertained tongiht. It wasn't my plan to plow through 305 pages of that, but seeing Didactylos try to prove the hoax is real has been keeping me laughing all night!
I might start putting my 0.0387 cents worth in, too! laughing
I sure did love your opening post, too! LOL
I can't wait until they start taxing me for CO2, so I can start suing them!

[Edit] Well, I put my pennies into the opinion. Can't wait to see the wacko's jump all over that! LOL
Page 305 of all of that...

Right on !!!!!!!

I'm not having the same experience mowing my yard. It's 91 here, my swamp cooler pads are repelling water, not absorbing it even though I just put new pads in, and it's friggin hot! sad

[edit] I think I'm going to spend the rest of the day in the pool. biggrin

The warmest daytime temp here today was 62.4 (last night it was 63.9 at midnight).
