Re: .

Evening all

Almost like summer today with bright and warm sun joining me on my walk to the supermarket. Then, one of my regular cabbies and I chatted cricket all the way back home.

Got the annual pile of bumpf from Lord's yesterday so it all adds to the feeling that winter is slowly disappearing.

Sounds as if you need planning permission Scribe for the wooden estate you're building on you land!

Have a good weekend all of you.

Re: .

Morning all.
Seems to me that Scribe would be better employed by building an Ark.

My Shed is in need of restoration
Waiting for English Heritage to approve details
Its evolved over the years from standing on bulks of timber
to a concrete slab . With attached green house .
weather vane on top and sky light .
As the weather is getting warmer the woodwork might get a coat of looking at
***************
Fuel prices are still on the up ward slope £70.00 to fill mine up @ £1.30 ltr diesel thats 5p more than the best local petrol price
I tell a lie its actually only £1.29.9 a ltr
I hate that .9 as there is no such thing as .9 of a penny bah humbug
I think its Supposed to increase even more in the next few days due to the Libya mess
Reading about the poor oil workers hoping to be repatriated after being stuck out in the desert (the Mail sent a Photographer and reporter to interview them) 300 mile round trip for these valiant reporters ,Having chatted to them they went back to Tripoli leaving the "victims " behind at their request waiting for the government to
Act .....
The Oil workers it seems pay nothing to UK tax living in comfortable accommodation 5 weeks out there 2 weeks home at a reported £400.00+ per day .........................

Just noticed the visitors we have collected 48541 since 17 Feb 2009.
Its quite amazing the number of folk who just pop in to read about our Weather,Sainsbuggers visits, Rain ,Shed building, Fog, Modelling, Frost , Dental appointments,Drizzle , Sporting event spectating, Snow, Child birth, and Cycle rides,, et al. We sometimes mention Sun shine but not often
