A mild day here and the visit to the quack just turned into a discussion on various subjects including cricket - he is a Sri Lankan and a cricket fan.

Merle is fine - if only the same could be said for her computer!! Had a brilliant time in Paris and walked miles and miles; the effect on the knees (mine that is) was brilliant. They are now better than they have been for 3 years (when the replacements were put in place!).

Came back to a computer full of bugs and trojans (which if I am honest were there before I left for France but did not have time to tackle the problem.) Had "the man" in, and it took him most of today to clean it all up and cost me mega-bucks, but I DON'T CARE!! Yippee - a computer that not only works again, but does it all really quickly!

Next problem - that is to decide where we are going for our next jaunt? I have suggested Venice, 'cos I figure a good bit of the time could be on boats on the water, thereby less walking. However, I am going to prolong my regular morning walk, and also do it a bit faster, so that I stay fit and mobile!

So what have "you lot" been up to in my absence? I expect you to 'come clean'!! Over and out!!
