Re: THE EDWARDIANS Chatter

have just returned from a tour of the estate (walk round Garden)
pleased to announce the Pomegranate is sprouting leaves again this year

This is I think the fourth year for this prestigious plant frosted to beyond belief but Yeah here we are again .
Seeds from a fruit from Sainsbuggers not from some obscure seeds man in the Himalayas.

Kept outside in garden border no protection
I'm not expecting a basket of fruit
To obtain that I might have to molly coddle it somewhat

I'm chuffed biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

If you are of gardening bent ( maybe you Merle ) just a window sill required , try Tamarind a component of curries

The seeds grow into a cute plant that has leaves that look like fingers and close up at night .. again source of seeds Sainsbuggers
PS only purchase these things when they have the yellow stickers on
devilish
Unless of course you are a Curry hound and use the Tamarind on a regular basis .

If its got a seed in it I plant it in yougert tub on the windowsill
some are interesting others not so ...............
But my Best pleased item is the Pomegranate

Re: THE EDWARDIANS Chatter

Evening all

Cold (max 10 degrees) and very wet for most of the day. I had to brave the weather being on cat watch for friends that are braving the Lake District for a few days of walking.

Got some really fresh asparagus from the Farmer's Market and that was my excitement for the day.

Re: THE EDWARDIANS Chatter

Good Morning! smile I never cease to wonder about the different weather we have in this small island we live on. It is dull and overcast 'darn sarf' here! Wind looks as though it is getting up too. At least there is no precipitation though - at the moment! Should be ok for my walk if I get a move on!

Have a good day everyone smile wink

Re: THE EDWARDIANS Chatter

Sarf and nawf have reported already, so pig in the middle now speaks up

...cold, bright and windy, ideal for digging out the stumps of my broccoli, now finished, which has done us proud at every meal for nearly five weeks

Yummy my first home grown broccoli for nearly 15 years.

Maybe the UK IS the best place to live[1]

Re: THE EDWARDIANS Chatter

still no pretty badges

a downside of switching to 30% CPU usage is that I don't seem to ever finish any orders anymore...of course it could be that H turned the puter off when I was gone over the weekend crying

pristine is not enviro friendly

nope!
plus it gives people allergies devilish

laaaaazy weekend...but I have the lousy weather excuse cool

yay scribbles is back!
psssst merle, a week without scribbles should always be referred to as "dragging on forever" or "loooooong"
devilish
