I was going to suggest "advanced" > "preferences" and lowering the CPU usage on your laptop, so it runs cooler, see if that makes a difference. un-be-lie-va-ble! this morning I was rooting around in the menus for anything I could try and reduced it to 30%, judging from the lack of noise that seems to have done the trick yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay and I was already so proud of having figured this out myself, not it turns out you were telephatically controlling me next challenge, try to make me do some housework from on the other side of the channel ![]() well done gal house work just a waste of time dust turns up whether or not don't make space for more to settle I like to live in a lived in look . pristine is not enviro friendly |

I'm with the snapper on this one
----------------------------------------Do housework WHEN it needs it, WHEN it is desparate and never before. Devlop a thick skin and tell anyone who knocks at the door, 'come in, take us as you find us' Soon find out who your friends are this way :D J still no pretty badges :-( [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Apr 30, 2010 4:25:04 PM] |

Evening all
Twas OK this morning but has slowly got more and more overcast and cooler, still dry though. As for housework, perhaps you should follow Quentin Crisp's advice and say 'forget it', after the first year you never notice the difference. Village gardening morning tomorrow so it may well rain - we've had it too lucky for so long. |

Good morning everyone
---------------------------------------- Is anyone having trouble with v18 of the BOINC software? Recently my machines keep having fatal errors with BOINC cause it apparently wants to have some kind of password everytime it connects to the core client. Never had this problem till recently. Windows update issue perhaps? some of my affected pcs run XP and some run 2000. Y'all have a great day ![]()
