fne!
you lot should keep your rain on your side of the channel! Getting caught in a huge thunderstorm on my foldable bike was NOT fun
I don't think I've EVER been as soaked as this
water was pooling in my shoes!
lightning was impressive though, too bad I was too hunched over my bike, pedalling furiously and trying to count the seconds in between lightning and thunder to notice
(this post needs a ninja icon) devilish

time for some tea!
and the worst was H, still in his office working, who said "why don't you go ahead and start running a bath for me" arhghhgg I sincerely tried to use all the hot water before he even gets here muwahahah devilish

Ha ! Ha ! You make me laugh out loud Evy. laughing

Hope you and H are doing well. rose

Evening all

Pleasant day here also. Had my BP checked by the Doc after a slight change in medication last month and finished up discussing politics. He being Sri Lankan it was interesting getting another slant on the present situation.
Later, it was back again for the yearly 'flu jabs - the normal one, they haven't heard anything about potential swine ones.

I had been accessing the site from my works computer during my lunch period to see how you all are but thats been stopped by the company's web defender, security is the name of the game as we have so much sensitive work in progress.
Suffering with a bout of 'man flu' at present trying to carry on as norm' but its taking its toll on me tired Retirement seems such a long way off.

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

They should be good at At about 650 quid biggrin dont know off hand what that is in $$$$............
Although looking at the local specialist bike shop thats not far out of line
The latest state of art cycles with titanium parts disc brakes and so on, precision gear sets, saddles that look set to cut you in half often come in at around the one £K mark.
