Just to make sure, have you checked in the "Available Projects" section of your device profiles if "Please opt me in to new projects..." and/or "The Clean Energy Project" boxes are checked the way you think they are? Cheers. Jean. I'm opted in for all new projects & all checkboxes ticked. Profile showing 5 projects & receiving numerous wu's for only 4. No CEP received on 27 rigs. Most rigs have min of 2gb ram & dual core (mix of Intel/AMD). |

OK. Maybe the techs are not pushing too many of them at the beginning (e.g. until the scientists confirm that they are happy with the first results). In that case the servers tend to save them for clients which are profiled for this project only.
----------------------------------------If you are impatient or just curious to see one at last you can try to set one or all of your profiles to CEP only until you see some and then revert to "all projects". Good luck. Jean. |

Thanks Jean, appreciate the help. I'm happy to continue as I am at the moment. Was just curious as to why I haven't received any yet. |

Hello Sirius B,
I started noticing this with the NRW launch. A lot of people switch their profile to run only the new project for a few weeks. Since I leave my profile set to run all projects, suddenly I only get the old projects. This is because the server is trying to run all the projects while honoring personal choices. After a month, things start looking normal again. Lawrence |

....run times are now dropping.....TG.... ![]() Yes I noticed this as well. Mine have been dropping from estimated times of 30+ hours to around 11-12 hours. On some of my older machines the estimates are still up around 24-30 hours, but BOINC might not have adjusted itself to the new workunits as quickly on the older ones. |

My first 2 CEP WUs completed in about 14 hours (batch 10). My last 2 completed in 24 hours (batch 11 & 12)!! I am currently running 2 WUs from batch 15 and it looks like it will take just as long.
I have a 2.8GHZ P4 HT with 2 gigs of RAM running it. The other users who ran the same WU in batches 11 & 12 only took 9 hours. I'm just surprised at the length. I think I may go back to NRFW to up my stats on that until these CEP variables calm down. |

I just finished 2 WUs from batch 15 and they took over 30 hours each. But now the ones I'm running from batch 20 seem to be half of that. Looks like they are still working out the workloads.
