I've got two other machines where there's a very large discrepancy between the two. I'll have to dig a bit further.

Q6600 (15C avg difference)
Both Asus boards

E6750 (25C difference)
Q6600 (15C avg difference)
Both Asus boards


The E6750 might have some temp problems but the Q6600 is fine.

I would trust Core Temp and HwMonitor.

Our power company is asking for 18% increase and im now paying 260 per month--computers or sat.tv which is 80 a month--I love Fox news and Sat.TV is only way i can get it. What do you think i should do?

Switch to CNN? biggrin

Personally I don't watch much TV ... just some local and international news in the morning. But I would not give up my dish for a server farm.

I'm going to reduce down to three this weekend. The sun is coming up like a blow torch this morning .... going to be HOT!!

If it makes you feel better, I've never had cable/satellite in my life. Parents said it's too expensive. I don't watch TV at all. I don't even touch the remote.

My electricity bill for my Quad could go towards cable but yet I crunch.

Isn't the 8800GT 512 a better card? More memory, etc.?
