Hypersonic weapon travels Mach 20


In the past the U.S. Military has tested hypersonic glider weaponry, unfortunately then ran into complications when their glider vanished from their control screens. Now they have tested the Hypersonic Technology Vehicle 2 (HTV2) with much greater results. The vehicle is the first-of-its-kind vehicle designed to fly within the Earth's atmosphere at hypersonic speeds.....

Speed is really tremendous when you see the span of sky the object does cover in such a short time, knowing that the object is at high altitude.

Ok here is my question about that post title.... I have just spent 30 min looking at all the official news reports from NASA on there official website.... but have not read ANYTHING that leads me to believe anything like that article you posted.

yes we have had some increases in solar storm activity... guess what its a cycle and we know about it.
