That's okay gunner. Down here south of the 48th parallel, we have plenty of folks that think New Mexico is a foreign country.

That's okay gunner. Down here south of the 48th parallel, we have plenty of folks that think New Mexico is a foreign country. Basically anything south of New Jersey is Mexico as far as I'm concerned, and anything north of Massachusetts is Canada. |

Dang! Showing my age again. Actually looks like the border from Lake Superior west is the 49th parallel. Odd how the only way I found out about Nunavut was when it appeared on maps. That's American media for you.

Dang! Showing my age again. Actually looks like the border from Lake Superior west is the 49th parallel. Odd how the only way I found out about Nunavut was when it appeared on maps. That's American media for you. Actually, Nunavut is fairly recent. It was all part of the Northwest Territories not that many years ago. I'd have to look up the exact year. I also get confused with 48th and 49th. Probably due to the term "the lower 48", which has nothing to do with the dividing line between our two countries, but we hear it often. |
