Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 23 smilesmile

Getting sick here.. Pulling it all together for semester finals....

For the next to the last time! dancing Well, you know what I mean - at this level.

Then again, finals never really end, not even with college. At work, they're called things like "getting that promotion", "landing the big contract", "meeting the big deadline".......aw man, now I'M depressed!

wink biggrin

Ok, working on the website content. Got the hang of using an anchor with an image that loads a specified page in a different frame. Now, what I'd like to do is double that - load a new navigator in the same frame and load the content page in the other frame. Can that be done without PHP?

In my experience, MS frontpage takes out about 95% of the hassle.

Still going strong here. I hope it doesn't storm. Small chance, but it's a chance.

And good to see everyone. =)

1) That may be true if your site is virtually all static XHTML. In the end, our's will probably be 95% PHP code.

2) MS has a proven track record of insecure code that locks you in to buying upgrades to protect yourself. It took a near revolt to get them to take security seriously.

3) I'm already close to $2k out of pocket.

4) I know code generators can't do the best job the way I want it done because they have to do the job for everyone and everyone doesn't want the same thing.

5) I'm an old fart who likes doing things my way instead of finding a way to get someone else's stuff to come close to doing what I want.

If you need software (any of you), let me know and I can get you educational versions for free or ludicrously cheap.

Go to an event. Leave home with Windows Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008.

This is $1500+ worth of software.
