shock Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

I know less the associations between cheeses and white or rosé wines, but some suggestions that seem very good to me.

I don't have that many cheeses or wines. smile

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

stefada, thank you for your suggestions of non-red wines to different kinds of cheeses.
I think I would be regarded a heretic if I invited guests for 'Cheese and White Wine'.
- it almost cannot be pronounced!
That's how ingrained 'Cheese and Red Wine' is.

Now it turns out that it's not all that foreign.
I have copied your suggestions and filed it in my recipe folder. Thank you, my friend
- And, yes, I do eat cheese in moderation.
My problem is: Once it's in my home it evaporates in no time ..... pufff!!
adriverhoef, as most of the time
- Exception: We have the record on liberation of pornography
the Netherlands lead(s?) the way.
I commend you for supporting your argumentation with quotes from the rules.
I tend to go by emotions rolling eyes
In general I find that one very large difference between Americans and Europeans is the role religion plays
- or doesn't play
Your numbers suggest that the new frontdeskcomputer runs satisfactorily

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

little mermaid,

----------
With pleasure my friend ! Red wine with cheese is a classic, but do not believe it is very common to eat with white or rosé. There are a lot of specialized sites to choose the white wine that goes with such cheese. I just used them to check that my suggestions were consistent, but there are many more possibilities (the list is too long). Often women - no sexism, I was a bartender and restaurant waiter, I have an idea of what people are asking for - prefer pink or white.

If I remember well the Roquefort that you had ordered, I advise you Sauternes elsewhere. Gewurztraminer would be a bit too dry I think.
But again, it depends on the tastes. To do well, it would be necessary to test everything, and like that to know what one prefers.

In France it is said that food is the first of the medicines. There is the dietary side of course, but there is also the pleasure it brings. A slice of cheese, with the wine that goes well, is good for morale.

wink

Had a stone rolling from my heart this morning:
My insurance company has partnered with the Danish Heart Association
about a tailor made travel insurance for heart patients.
This change even made my combined insurance portfolio cheaper, but most important to me:
I shall not need an advance approval any more to go anywhere unless something drastic happens
- I love such a green light!
I have felt this restriction degrading and discriminating ever since I recovered from my blood clot
- but mind you:
I'm so grateful to feel so well that such an issue positioned itself on the top of my mind love struck

Partage de bons moments / Sharing good times :

Repas chez Saphir12, pizza maison. Saumon, champignons, asperges, fromage et crème fraîche.

Lunch at Saphir12, homemade pizza. Salmon, mushrooms, asparagus, cheese and cream.

Louloup qui attend très sage sur son nouveau pled. Elle lui l'a fait à la main, en recyclant de vieux pulls, pour qu'il ne mette plus de poils sur la couverture qu'elle lui posait avant.
clic
Louloup who waits very wise on his new pled. She did it by hand, recycling old sweaters, so that he did not put any more hair on the blanket that she put him before.

On comprend mieux pourquoi il est si sage, quand on voit sa gamelle à la fin. (mais pourquoi il l'aime autant tata ?)
clic
We understand better why he is so wise, when we see his bowl at the end. (but why does he like auntie so much?)

Et bien sûr, nous avons passé la soirée à rigoler.
----------
And of course, we spent the evening laughing.

peace

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Yes, BladeD, to me it's very good news.
I may not go anywhere -
yes, Paris in some five weeks, but that's an EU country
where we automatically have the same coverage as the French
wink - and it could be better than in Denmark
but the feeling of being tethered cow is unpleasant
Great meal, stefada. Thank you for sharing.
- is Louloup putting on weight? thinking
I like to make my pizzas from scratch, too.
How does Saphir12 go about the creme fraîche? Over? Under? Mixed with the cheese?

Finished my Danish book club assignment for the first time this season angel It feels good.
My conscience has been very poor trying to navigate NOT having done my homework blushing
Tonight I'm going to my third lecture streamed nationwide from the University in Aarhus.
The title is 'Climate Change - the Danish Perspective 2019'

It's a challenge in Denmark when the water level rises, which it will probably do,
but not nearly as much as it is for the Netherlands
which is already below the sea for a large and heavily populated part sad
Denmark has an advantage for all but the most southwestern part of the country.
It's landmass is still rising between 0,3 to 1,2 mm annually
from having shed the weight from the ice cover some 40,000 years ago
so far outpacing the speed of which the sea is calculated to rise
an advantage that the Netherlands hardly has - on the contrary sad
We already spend a lot of money constructing measures to meet the challenge of more water,
and I don't dare think of what it will cost in the Netherlands ....
Does the USA take any measures?

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

After having listened to the lecture, I'm relieved to being informed
that The Netherlands already has safeguarded themselves for a 1 in 10,000 years event
blushing whereas the southwestern part of Denmark - the waddenmeer/mudflats coastal area
of the Danish North Sea only can withstand a 1 in 100 years event
.... oh, boy! Is that embarrassing blushing
