Look, I have this ticket for the Norwitchian Dreamliner flight early this morning out of Schiphol into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Texas, where sujo1 will pick you up in his pick-up and give you an intensive BBQ class in his backyard. I couldn't get you an ESTA this fast, so you'll have to fight your way through customs and immigration.  You can do that - just give them your best song or ...  we'll have tofu again  |

Good Morning Base Campers!
----------------------------------------It was a wild night, but it paid off We have the reinforcement of ultimaThule from Finland. He brings the Finnish specialties: Saunas and Sisu, not to forget The Leningrad Cowboys - here performing with the Red Army choir.  Finland borders to Russia. And Finland has a thing with tractors. I never found out what it is with those tractors. Maybe we can have a coffee and you can tell me, ultimaThule?Please welcome ultimaThule to our crew which gets Motleyer by the day. Usually ultimaThule crunches with Minnesota Crunchers, but some decoy mackerel lured him over to help us out for a bit. You see, Captain adriverhoef seems to have something wrong with a carburettor and has a hard time finding some gasket material, so he has had to throttle down. It is our hope and expectation that ultimaThule can pick up the slack. There is a neat curl to this story. tanner2, my little brother, an EVGA boy, who lost his way and got stuck with SeriousCrunchers, is a real life Minnesotan. ultimaThule is a virtual Minnesotan. It all evens out in the end. We sent Captain adriverhoef off to Texas to be picked up by sujo1 at Austin International Airport, and I contracted with him to give our captain a crash course in BBQing to improve on our diet. Unfortunately we have not heard from him since he left Schiphol early this morning.  I fear that the Immigrations officer didn’t like my home made ESTA  Calling sujo1: ’Have you made contact with our captain?’ Christmas 2017 Race As predicted yesterday, SeriousCrunchers passed Kraland with flying colors, and now rules the #11 spot. I shouldn't be surprised if they began to pry Vulture Central III off their #10 perk soon. So, Kraland moved into a decent #12 - where we should have been had it not been for that pit stop of Captain adriverhoef's tsk, tsk, tsk mishap I really hope ultimaThule will make a difference because - NO - I will NOT do it - I offered little brother ice cream on top of evertything else we offered him yesterday at our Grand Hotel. The Netherlands - the land of windmills, tulips, van Gogh, and above all water, water, water everywhere, fine for a fresh water mermaid .... Do you like it?  Captain adriverhoef, did they set you free after my bail? How do you handle that big charcoal construction now? I better confess. I think I blundered royally with my second welcome yesterday, the one to tanner2  I took it for granted that little brother would dedicate his just-fired-up ’device’ to us Never take anything for granted And men are so difficult to understand  This is not my first blunder  And it will not be my last |
