Crunching@EVGA has a goal of finishing among the top 25% - maybe even top 20% - in the
13th Birthday Challenge
Well, we are hanging in there. #22 out of 93 participating teams – exactly in the top 23.66%
We started out as #12. If this sliding tendency continues, something has to give:

1. More teams joining this challenge to form a wider base for calculating the percentage
- not as probable at this stage, I would think, and a lousy passive way to solve a potential problem
2. More crunchers joining Crunching@EVGA for the remainder of this challenge, which is 4 days 15 hours 0 minutes 25 seconds at of this time of writing.
More of an action oriented and dignified solution to a problem that may arise.

If any of you feel like giving these otherwise quite powerful guys (there are just too few of them joining this challenge) a helping hand, they – and I - would appreciate your support.

Confession
Team Kraland’s stefada thinks it would be a good idea to explain how Base Camp works in the Kraland Forum. He thinks it could lure more of the Kraland gamers to add BOINC and crunch. So for him and Saphir12 and with their help formulating the Base Camp idea in French, I’m taking this unprecedented promoting trip.

Geeezzz, I never thought I would get this close to corrupt behavior ……

I'm afraid that we raise pigs as they do in Bretagne. However, as for the ground water we are lucky, because we have layers of clay that filters the surface water quite well. Most of the potable water in Denmark is pumped up from drilled wells. Here you can see how many years it takes for water to seep into the underground reservoirs.

You always have new ideas that will make me want to go to France in general and your region in particular. I really appreciate your efforts

J'ai peur que nous élevions des cochons comme ils le font en Bretagne. Cependant, en ce qui concerne les eaux souterraines, nous avons de la chance, car nous avons des couches d'argile qui filtrent très bien les eaux de surface. La plus grande partie de l'eau potable au Danemark est pompée à partir de puits forés. Ici vous pouvez voir combien d'années il faut pour que l'eau s'infiltre dans les réservoirs souterrains.

Vous avez toujours de nouvelles idées qui me donneront envie d'aller en France en général et dans votre région en particulier. J'apprécie vraiment vos efforts

En fait, une amie habitait là où il y a la fenêtre juste en haut à droite de la tour sur la photo. Quand on est à l'intérieur, on ne se rend pas compte, ça a juste l'air d'une maison qui est vieille, mais c'est tout. Mais en même temps, même de l'extérieur, est-ce qu'on croirait que cette tour a plus de 400 ans, et faisait partie de fortifications ?

Et oui, le relief de la région fait qu'il y a eu pas mal de résistance au fil de l'histoire. Prostestants, Templiers, et plus proche de nous, en 39-45, ou les hippies dans les années 70. Mais que les femmes montent sur les remparts en 1628, ça je pense que c'est un peu extraordinaire, surtout à l'époque.

C'est exactement ça ! Aujourd'hui, cette tour ne sert que d'escalier en colimaçon pour donner accès aux appartements qui l'entourent. Et si on ne connait pas l'Histoire, on peut passer devant sans se rendre compte. Alors qu'à dix mètres de là, il y a la "place des casernes", qui est maintenant un parking, mais du temps des remparts, c'est là qu'était stockées toutes les armes. J'aime l'Histoire pour ça, quand on sait, cette tour, on ne la regarde plus du tout de la même façon.

Regardons l'autre tour (et tant qu'à y être, avec vue sur la fontaine et la statue de la place de la Liberté). On voit un peu plus le coté militaire, mais ça reste intégré avec les autres bâtiments. Et là aussi, c'est plus qu'un escalier. Les plaques sur la porte en bas, c'est pour annoncer des cabinets de médecins. (la vie fait des blagues)

Quant à la région, je ne pense pas que ce soit lié à l'eau (même si ici, il y a des endroits où je me permet de boire à la rivière. Pas partout, mais c'est à noter). Je pense que c'est plus lié au relief. La plupart des lieux sont difficiles d'accès, et on voit venir de loin quelqu'un qui approche. Et comme si ça suffisait pas, pour se cacher il y a plein d'"avens" (une sorte de grotte).

C'est un guerrier en perfecto, rangers. Et à coté, il a quand même des manières, d'où le haut de forme. La tête de mort à son cou, c'est que dans son background, il est mort-vivant. Et en arrière plan, il y a le bisounours et le dragon, son coté gentil et colérique (en français, on dirait "soupe au lait").
