Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

little mermaid

----------
In fact, it will not be the last visit. I took so much pleasure to show you what surrounds me, and to feel how much you liked it. I think I will continue. That's what I was trying to explain to you the other day, when I said I have no merit. I'm not from here, but this region is so beautiful that I did not look for what I could show you, but I had to sort it out! Just from home, in ten minutes on foot, I take you to five beautiful and totally different places. But that's for my dog's little walk ... The Treck's time, I tried to show you the most wonderful / original things that are less than an hour away. But since 28 years that I know the corner, I still discover things ...

And who knows, by dint of showing you how beautiful it is, you might want to come to see yourself, not just pictures. There is nothing else to do, just be here, and open your eyes. This morning again, I saw two herons (yes, two \o/) flying in formation, 5/6 meters away from me. By mid-July, I have time to add arguments to invite campers to come.

And then, my grandparents said that when someone gets someone into their house, the door must always stay open.

wink

----------
And of course, I can not wait for you to make us dream with Texas

biggrin

Ce n'est qu'un aurevoir (Just see you later) wink

Little Mermaid
I looked on my computer and found the old base camp badges.
If you would like them i can upload them to a forum of your choice that supports that kind of thing.
Or if you make a new base camp forum i could upload them there. biggrin

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Ted, that's wonderful love struck
A new castle? Why not? Could we do that?
I am in a corridor in the theatre right now.
Defected from the most boring movie I have seen for years, but forgot my headphones in my seat, so cannot walk home from them.
Still better in this corridor.
The badges are jpg files, right?
Would you care to e-mail me copies when you have the time, please?
You find the address to the left...
Too much is happening just now, but I like your idea of a castle a lot. Do you know any realtors with castles in their inventory?
Ok, I can go now
Happy days are here again biggrin

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

All right, Base Campers, we’re on our way with a reconstruction cool
Sujo1 located Crunchie

Ted has our badges
We have our Base Camp national anthem
We used to have exercise videos so we could stay in shape, sitting there tweaking all day long rolling eyes
I have not been able to find those we had – funny how you get attached to things; they were good!
I have a temporary one which I kindly ask you to do morning, midday, and evening. We have a tough row to hoe, and this should help us make ’una bella figura’ in all the meanings of the word.

I remember, deltavee never missed an excercise session. Could it be you have saved it on your computer as homework? wink

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Just had to play out Base Camp National Anthem to myself
– as I got somewhat distracted elsewhere

Time to shape up for the great event:
Base Camp doing Challenge by Proxy
Never seen before – neither Base Camp doing challenges, nor Base Camp doing proxy
- normally we are mercilessly direct devilish

Instructions for everybody who wants to try out Base Camping, challenge, and by proxy
- three bangs for one buck
Where to go: SeriousCrunchers
What will happen: You join SeriousCrunchers and crunch away the best you ever did
Why????: For the money, for the glory, and for the fun of it
- please notice those sexy Peterbilts love struck
For whom do we do it: Mainly for sujo1 who plays lonely but also for Team Kraland – the revived French team that has brought so much new life to our Forums
Specifics
Challenge Name: Kraland - Challenge I
Created by: Kraland
Start Date: 11/08/2017 – that’s November 8th for us not all that familiar with the US date format
End Date: 11/14/2017 – oh, and that’s November 14th
What then: In order to get your name carved into SeriousCrunchers List of Fame, you will need to turn in one WU as a minimum. No maximums. After the Challenge is over, you may hang around with SeriousCrunchers. Sujo1 loves company – or you may go back to your Home Team.
Future: Base Camp is constantly working on expanding it’s expedition force …. So please keep us in mind for future events. Our door is always open, which makes it a little drafty.
Practicalities
Food and drink: We seriously expect sujo1 to arrange for a super Texan BBQ to be flushed down with liberal quantities of Texan beer. I tried the Shiner. I can recommend that. The fact that I cannot recommend other brands is rooted in the fact that I haven’t tasted them. Yet.
Sleeping: sujo1 has arranged for bunk beds in a newly vacuumed room. For the sporty types we have a camp site complete with a campfire, sticks and marshmallows.
Temporary anthem: The Yellow Rose of Texas
Well, if you have any questions – any – please don’t hesitate to ask them right here.
We are here to serve
- and to crunch

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Dears Campers.

----------
As it is very hot in Texas, I propose a little freshness!

Welcome to Creissels. It is so close to Millau that aglomerations are stuck. But, get close to the waterfalls, it's so nice.

----------
Then we will go for a walk in the village? There are so many beautiful things everywhere.

Une autre façon de regarder. (Another way to look)

----------
You too make us dream, and show us how beautiful Texas is!

wink

PS : Welcome back Mike.

No, mike047 sad
Sadly, it fell victim to a Merger&Aquisition action ... crying
We are trying to collect the pieces we can find, so until further notice we'll do everything out in the open - al fresco cool

You came just in time to sign up with SeriousCrunchers
Did you read the menu for this trek?
Whauw - it's been ages since we talked. Thank you for finding us again smile

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

stefada, what a splendid idea to lead us to that romantic waterfall. The moss look so soft to walk on. Is that allowed?

Those village you have shown us are so pretty. I think it comes from the overall look of the rock which is used for the construction of the houses as well as for the bridges and the churches. No flaming McDonald's sign either. Really whipped cream for my eyes.

I look forward so much, and I have made a triple split of my personality in order to manage all of what life offers these days.

I wonder: Could you possibly make a list of the places we visit virtually?
Street addresses, coordinates from a Google map, anything that I can use to plot into my "Here " navigation app. Do you know that one? It's a genious! I recommend it to everyone who cares to listen.

So are you ready for your first Challenge, Team Kraland? Gotta see how many have signed up. mike47, an experience Base Camper, just pitched his tent at sujo1's camp. Aren't we lucky?
The more reinforcement the better are the chances for making that 'bella figura'
after all it's our debutante ball

*****

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

I must admit that I'm discovering these places with you. I moved a short time ago.
The team is ready for the challenge, and I'm really happy to see that sujo got some help (must say that you did a big job to find peoples for the SeriousCrunchers)
29 teams are in the starting-block, ready to run, to crunch and mostly to have fun. Do you think that I can have some meat from the BBQ of Sujo ?
drooling
